My guess is that Liverpool flip Salah and Van Dijk to Saudi for about 200m and then give that to the new manager. Are we going to play poor again and not compete for elite players?
Who knows how many players the new manager would want? If he needs to rebuild in his own image, that £200M would need to be spent wisely, as they don't have too much more wiggle room with P&S. They may see more need for frugally astute buys, rather than direct 'like for like' replacements of those 2. FWIW, I can't see VVD going to Saudi, not if he has a chat with Henderson first. Salah might, but he's been living a Western life for decades now, would he be any different?
It is an interesting question though, which only time will tell on.
