Palace a grave yard he's gone now for us. Zaha, Eze ect. Honestly my dream Autumn/Sumer window to M.S.G.A looks like this. It's fully a fantasy though in reality well within the business ability to carry.

Think this five over two windows would enable us to realistically fight at the top end. Though I'm not sure it wouldn't also require a less fanciful coach and the sale of Richlison, Romero.
Mark Guehi
Arda Guler
Antony Robinson
Fabian Ruiz
Victor Oshimen
I'd settle for just Guler- we may actually have a chance with Romero as a makeweight. Robinson aside, the rest is complete fantasy land that we'd ever stump up the fees or wages to get them.

Dubious source but…

I wouldn’t mind if we looked at….

McAtee could become really good with a move to a club where he could get regular game time. I wouldn't mind that at all.

My one issue is giving City money.

Issue with this is we'd still have Son and Johnson on the wings. Osihmen is great but would be benching Solanke (our only starting attacker that doesn't need replacing imo).

Guler another crock risk which we seem to love and would take a while to adapt to PL.

Would love someone like Ruiz. Desperately need a bit of nous in this team.

I think Guehi will be overpriced with the English and PL tax. He's solid but nothing special. I think CB is one of the easier markets out there. Would be happy for us to take another punt on the next VDV. High hopes for Vuskovic too in the next couple of years.
No man Oshimen replaces Richarlison and very ably plays in a two, or as a wide forward he gives us real flexibility Totally disagree on Mark Guehi he can play left or right centerback without looking inept and I have watched him closely since he move to Palace I want him at Spurs as much for his character as anything else, he has a calmness and emotional stability that would help VDV and Udog. Guler your right just think he is a talent.

Gift Orban has been transfer listed by Lyon
Kid's still achieved more in the game than you ever will, pal. His bank account sends you a quick lol too.

Maybe it's also to do with Lyon being officially threatened with relegation to the French Champo at the end of the season unless they somehow find 100+ mil sharpish. Cherki, Mikautadze, Benhrama and other senior players are up for sale.

But hey, don't let that stop you shitting on a kid just to prove to us all how right you was about not signing him.

Cherki has great feet, super technique, good vision it tight spaces, and is good 1v1 in a “not quick” but trixy kind of way. Down sides are work off the ball and allegedly attitude.

But for cheap, having a tool like him to use against deep blocks could be useful to have on your bench.
His attitude is awful and his skillset is nothing special. Was supposed to be the next big thing, Zidane-like, when he first burst onto the scene 3 or 4 years ago. Was said to be worth 100 mil at some point, with PSG looking to pay it. Well he's still at Lyon, putting up meh numbers, going awol more games than he show up for, never tracking back, always talking back to refs etc. But hey, he's ace when the French u21s hammer San Marino by 10.

Got a few French pals who are mad OL fans, texted them and got this back "You can have him tomorrow, just pay us the money you gave us for Ndombele though...he'll be as good as Tanguy was for Spurs so it's a great deal ha ha!"

yeh no point giving him any more money. Contrary to what people try to say Levy has absolutely backed him more then he's backed any other manager by some distance.
King, was he backed purely cause he got 300 mil? Or was he not cause despite getting 300 mil, the club - bar Solanke - only brought in names that weren't his first picks?

IMHO a manager has been fully backed when the club gave him the money to sign all the players the roster required and all them incomings were first choice. We all know Levy's MO is to let his manager 2 or 3 players short, and that he'll pretty much always go for option B, C or D because of the wage demands of option A. Going 50-60% of the way in, that's what we do. And there's no friggin surprise we never win anything. Levy just out there trying to win on the cheap to protect his bonuses and prove to everyone he's the goat chairman.

I'd be tempted to give Mikautadze a go if we go shopping in the Lyon bargain bin.

But shopping from Lyon as a whole makes me iffy after the Ndombele sale.

I did use the word Fantasy mate. That said I do not agree with you, all five are well within the capacity of this football club to finance it would merely put our wage structure back on the level of 4th or 5th highest.

“The greatest trick the devil ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist”

Well Levy has pulled off a bigger con on our fanbase....

Pep actually wanted to keep Palmer but he could not guarantee the amount of playing time Palmer wanted as City had Savinho, Bernard Silva, Foden, de Bruyne playing in his position; so it was Palmer who insisted on leaving and his contract was running out...
They signed Savinho a year after he left ( from the City group I know). The way i heard it was he could have kept him and sign a new contract but didn't try very hard .
