If you think the only reason motivating a player to choose is a club is money then that’s your prerogative. I’d say humans are a bit more complicated than that.

Absolutely- France and Spain seem very nice. Spain you can almost avoid the winter entirely if you are lucky enough! Southern Italy too. Also- food and culture, and family! Just remember what Bastoni said to reports we were interested in him- "just had a baby and live near family"- something to that effect.

Presumably if we signed RKM we would have eventually given him a 5 year deal not an 6+12 month contract that Werner was on so his wage would have been much more over time
