Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Just feel he is one of our many very one dimensioned specialist. He is strong in one-to-one defending, Sissoko pace, Sanchez pace, Dele clever run. Make too many mistakes in other areas

He has to be included in HG players this season as he is now over 21.
It may have been end of season and players pulling out of challenges but in recent games I have seen him intimidating opponents.
I have high hopes for him but I would rather see him loaned out next season.

Absolutely desperate for us to give this kid a long run at CB.

Not sure what the coaches don't see that most of us do.

A committed, composed and brave young defender keen to impress.

Being Spurs through and through helps.

I really don't know how I feel about this one.

Obviously it means that he isn't in our immediate plans for this season, which seems like a shame considering who would be left behind. If he gets sufficient experience and playing time it could be great for him. My guess is that if we let him out on loan that we feel confident that help is on the way.

A loan isn’t a bad idea because after his bad luck with injuries he really needs to play a full season at a high level. I’m just surprised that a domestic club isn’t interested.

As long as they wanna put him in as a starter, he's probably better off than be over here and not get as much game-time.....

Getting out of the UK bubble too.

My hunch is this is perfect for him.....

Side thought: With Sanchez thought to be on the out too; we're down to Romero (?), Dier & Rodon + Davies but he's been rumoured to be up for sale today too.......

If he goes we clearly need another CB. Davies is not a CB nor should be in any situation that isn't an emergency injury situation or tactical 3 at the back set up.

I wonder who's coming. We're not great at squad management but we're not this bad.

TBH, we've first team relationships to build around Romero and whoever else arrives..... To try and plug him in around that kind of scenario may not do him any favours. Plentiful game-time with a regular partner is what's needed.

Formation & the RB or RWB quandary holds a lot of answers.... And that includes the intended future of (presumed to be signing) Tomiyasu who may be seen as a RB or a CB.

We have numbers as stands.... We just don't know what the gaffers plans are yet.

RB: Serge / Doherty / Tomiyasu (?)
CB: Romero / Dier / Rodon / Davies / Tomiyasu (?)
LB: Reggie / Sess / Davies

...Obviously what that list will look like by the end of the window is TBC.

Good loan move for him but I would much prefer him play 30 games this season vs Aurier, Doherty, Dier and Sanchez

this is a season for blooding players, we have nothing to play for. Give promising yoots a decent run and see if we can salvage something from Levy’s net spend abortion

Davies is not a CB. Full stop.

Tomiyasu might be, but he essentially takes Tanganga's spot if he goes on loan - auxiliary defender who can fill in at CB and RB, and one for the future.

That leaves us with Romero, Dier, and Rodon.

Even assuming Dier is in the plans as a bench CB (yuck), we absolutely need another CB.

If we play 3, he is a CB. I would argue that next to a CB like Romero he has more attributes than Dier or Sanchez to be credible

Nah, not full stop... You may not rate him there or at all, but that's another story.

Like I said; as stands we have the numbers...... Hard to now what tweaks we'll see without knowing what Nuno has planned.

I like the idea of him playing in a side as a starter, and abroad as well, but anyone have knowledge on whether Turkey is a good spot for young talent to cut their teeth?

Woulda preferred Germany or even the Championship
