Most Madrid fans would seriously disagree with this sentence. Florentino Perez would be the first.

And Chelsea fans, if they were honest, as well. The group of players built by Jose in his first spell won titles for them for 5 or 6 years after he was gone. Even Antonio Conte got most of Jose´s players one year after his third Premier League title with them (in his Chelsea´s second spell) - they were champions again.

His real short term work was at Inter, where he already got a group of very experienced players - Maicon, Samuel, Zanetti, Cambiasso, Stankovic, Chivu, Cordoba (Figo, Crespo)... They were all there before Jose arrived.

COYS
That treble winning Inter team was ridiculously old. But the real reason for Inter's slide after JM has to go to Benitez, who began dismantling the team the moment he took over. Not unsurprisingly, he was sacked after just a few months.

So we should have won handsomely in all those games yet at the same time our main scorers are heavily outperforming their xg. How does that work?
We should have sustained pressure and mounted more attacks instead of creating a situation where we need to rely on unprecented levels of clinical finishing. Then players like Kane and Son can even afford to miss more chances but score more like regular strikers in non embarassingly negative systems.

Do you really believe your seeing something that anti-Jose Spurs fans and the rest of the world can't?
Pardon my French but xg can go fuck itself

Happy Birthday Jose, you’ve got me feeling like a borderline bipolar this season but I’m ecstatic we’re still in all competitions and things seem to be heading in a good direction. Keep it solid at the back, a 1-0 win is never written with any certainty, let Tanguy express himself as much as possible within your system, my aunt fancies you. Parabens e boa noite

How many Golden Ball players did he trained until now ?
Ronaldo (barça) Rivaldo (barça) , Sheva (chelsea) , Kaka (madrid) , Ronaldo (Madrid) , Modric (Madrid)

Maybe Kane or Son could be the next :)

Press conference:

- We have more injuries than expected - Davies, Doherty, Dele Alli, Lo Celso and "more". Jose didn´t say who, but I don´t think it´s a bluff; it could be something annoying, bad or really bad for our next team selections. In any case, he was definitely not in a good mood, unlike before other matches this season. It was more like he just wanted to get out of the room - if possible, without making any headlines.

- However, this one I liked. Jose was asked about how to develop young CB´s, like Joe Rodon. His answer had almost nothing to do with Joe Rodon. He just said: "Yeah, you need to find solutions, and every club have different solutions. For some clubs, when you have defensive problems, you just need to put money on the table and your problem is solved". City are clear favorites to win the league, and the reason why they are "clear favorites" - instead of just big favorites -, is the signing of Ruben Dias. Without him, considering the defensive problems they showed early in the season, while still one of the favorites, City would be another big team losing points every now and then - which is really not their case anymore. Then, of course, Jose went back and talked about why missing EL games was a problem for Rodon.

- And finally about Ndombele; once again, Jose gave him all the credit for his own evolution. The only thing he said "maybe" should go to his credit as a coach was the fact that he played the French in some of the final games of last season, when, in Jose´s words, Ndombele was "not in real conditions to play". According to him, it was something that "exposed" the player in a way that ended up being positive for him - interesting perspective about our beloved midfielder and his evolution here.
