his tactics rely heavily on individuals not making mistakes. We don't have the players (in particular the defenders) required to play that way so the blame is on him.

Defenders were a disgrace under AVB/ Sherwood and Ramos. The crap that Rose, Walker, Vertonghen, BAE, Dawson, Corluka were getting was untold. A decent manager came along and sorted them out.
