Today was miserable and I can’t imagine any fan wanting to sit through 50 games a year with that. But I guess there are and so I am the minority.

I didn't think we had much of a chance today and celebrated pretty bloody well at the end of the game. I'd take 50 of those games any day of the year.

I didn't find it entertaining when we lost the Champions League final, or the numerous cup finals and semi-finals, no matter how well we played.

If we go down the Liverpool route of getting the ball to the front 3 as quick and incisively as possible then I won't mind at all sacrificing 60 or 70 % of the ball like we had most of the time under Poch. In Son, Dele and Harry we have a menacing goal threat and they need to be fed the ball early so they can get at the opposition back 4 before others get back to help

I see both sides of the debate(*), but how often did we complain that this wasn't happening under Poch in the last 12 months or so?

(*I certainly hope that week-to-week we can assert more control than we have in most of JM's games so far., but if this is how we'll play whilst we learn to shore up our defense once again then so be it.... We look dangerous in the interim.)

The "Tottenham way" has been the most annoying phrase for my entire time as a supporter of this club.

I couldn't care less how we play football as long as when that final whistle blows we have 3 points.

The " Tottenham way" has been always falling short whilst playing "entertaining football" well I don't consider losing to be entertaining tbh.

I am with you to a point.

I think playing football in a fashion that makes me think wow is also important but the joy of winning is hard to match.

Liverpool are not what we are currently looking at in terms of play.

They control the tempo with that ball at their feet. They utilize the long ball yes, but they also build up from the back, have a competent midfield.

I was one of the most vocally reluctant about his potential appointment, but give it time fella...

- So far he's got us scoring again.... Via both pacey counter attacking play and individual brilliance.
- Today was a sign that the defense is reacting to his methods.
- We may need personnel turnover before our MF starts to dominate the ball.

In the meantime we're turning our season around at an impressive rate.

An ugly FA cup win or CL 'miracle' wouldn't make his first 6 months sting too bad, would it?

Of course everyone prefers a win. There are just no guarantees of winning, even with Sjosay at the helm.

Today we got away with it. We could easily have drawn or lost. I promise you, there would have been a lot of moaning here if we had lost this way. First substitution on 89th min., bus parked big part of the game, couldn't connect 3 successful passes in a row etc.

...and yes, I'll celebrate our victories, even though I'm not convinced about Mourinho

Dress it like you want, Mourinho totally killed the vibe at United

It was also terrible handling of Rashford, when he missed a big chance to score against Brighton (I think), Mourinho on the presser said something like: "and that's why I always chose Lukaku". Maybe not the most motivating thing to say to a youngster.

What vibe did he kill? No vibe, no pulse. Martial is waste of a talent, he is lazy as fuck.
He did bring out McTorminay but people were laughing. Now look at him.

I am not saying it is over and he needs to be sacked. I am just saying it’s ugly and I don’t think it needs to be.

Well that was hardly the implied jist of my post either....

Bearing in mind the obvious personnel issues in MF and the improvement that we indeed have seen already; what would you have changed? ...And do you honestly think your proposed changes would have positively manifested themselves as quickly as Jose's have?

It's not like he turned up and ruined an already beautifully performing team.

A man that can produce results with a midfield of Sissoko and Dier is not just a man, is the special one. I'm pretty sure we could play a more entretaining footbal if our midfielder actually could pick a simple pass, but despite that we are still winnig.

Are you not entertained?

Won 4, lost 2 (1 did not really matter).

Bournemouth, Burnley, and West Ham were good attacking games that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Some of you expect every game to score 5-6 goals, ain't gonna happen. The league has become very competitive and some games will need to grind results.

Ecstatic about today's win. We had the best chances, period.

Jose needs time, if you don't like him call Levi to sack Jose and get another manager that will play the Tottenham way and bring us trophies. I am sure Levi will listen to the best armchair managers in here and act accordingly.

I am already tired of some whining fans in here talking shite every day.
