Manager Jose Mourinho

Well I don't blame Jose for being bitter, he got sacked on the eve of a cup final, which was crazy. Just as crazy was the decision to hire him with no money to back him. Looking for quick fixes set us back as a club, we got a respectable 6th place finish but no one really cares. It would have been better just to stick with Poch and just do the fucking painful rebuild he asked for like we're still doing 3 years later.

"Painful rebuild" has become such a tired meme... (Another one!!! Classic Spurs fans).....

Ange is proving that a rebuild doesn't have to be "painful" process (FWIW Poch did too in 2014/2015; when he wasn't carrying a black cloud around with him!).

Poch was done; the players quite clearly thought so too...... That fact doesn't make Jose any better or worse... The 2 scenarios aren't mutually exclusive. The implied notion that his squad were all crumbling post-30 y/olds has always been BS too.

Poch got a bunch of expensive list-topping targets in summer 2019 and look how that turned out..... How was foisting another 100-200m on him with no DOF (cos Poch didn't want one) to try and steer the whole thing likely to end well?

He's right about the cup thing but I don't wanna hear it from Jose because he was truly dreadful and deserved his sacking entirely. The football was awful, he was toxic as fuck and we were going absolutely nowhere.

He subbed on Renato Sanches the other day and then subbed him off after 18 mins, because he's just a massive cunt these days.

Poch was stabbed in the back by that bald cockroach you call daddy.

No he isn't we are still stuck with players from Jose and Conte era and that is preventing us from doing some transfers.

There were some terrible signings from Poch in hindsight, the form was poor but ffs the guy had taken us to the CL final the season before and brought CL qualifications and cup finals on top of that, so he definitely had more than enough credit in the bank not to forget also he was also a coach still learning his trade.

It was entirely predictable he would play football this way but Levy had been an admirer for years and he wanted him. He didn't care about the style of football he just wanted CL football quick.

Jose’s football has got consistently worse though. Like as his career has progressed he’s got more negative. It’s like he embraced the toxic/negative image but has gone too far. In his younger days yes his teams were built on defensive solidity but they were flexible and pragmatic, not constant bus parkers.

Levy hired the washed out version of Jose, which is pointless.

The word pragmatic has lost its meaning. Pragmatic means flexible/realistic or common sense approach it does not mean defensive.

Redknapp was the ultimate pragmatist, would play all out attack when he thought needed, would bank everyone in defence and counter attack against elite teams. Would change tactics at the drop of a hat.

Modern Jose (not the Porto one!) and Nuno are defensive coaches not pragmatists. They will often park the bus even when their team has massive superiority. The young Jose was much better.

For some reason though Pragmatist and defensive have come to mean the same thing when they are not.

(You're surely taking the piss.... None more troublesome than the Poch's 130m of duds that is Ndombele, GLC & Sess!)

Regardless.... You are in pain atm are you?

That's a shame...... But unsurprising of you.

I agree about credit in the bank.... .I said so at the time and wanted him to stay; BUT that doesn't mean he was in any more of a position to come good if the players have had enough of him and he was stuck in a perpetual sulk after the CL final.

He’s clearly got a short memory.

We were losing game after game, the style of football he had us playing was arguably the worst we have ever played, in terms of both attractiveness and effectiveness and he was a toxic, moaning little cunt.

He should have been sacked earlier and the logic behind sacking him before the final was likely in desperate hope of a new manager bounce to see us over the line because there was absolutely zero fucking chance that we were going to win playing the way Mourinho wanted.

He’s a dinosaur. His tactics are outdated for the Premier League. He can fuck off.

Ndombele was the main dud, but not Poch's decision to pay him 200k a week was it? GLC and Sess not good enough but at least we can get some use out of them while their fit. But again Poch had a hand in signing good players and making good players better.

I don't know what you're talking about.

His man management was light years ahead of Mourinho, Nuno and Conte, we could have just left him in charge at least until the end of the season and take it from there.

We were in that final for 85 mins.

Would have been 4-0 down at HT under that cunt, the players and entire club hated him - sacking him was correct and his history of trophies would have had no bearing on that game whatsoever. Sox months prior, maybe
