Few of my mates went down there yeah and I could hear on my stream the chants throughout the game. I made no mention on wishing death on the chairman…. “We want levy out” and “daniel levy get out of our club” were sang all match and I see nothing wrong with that.
So, yes they were sung but it was a minority. The loudest it was sung was early in the game around KO, it was sung about 4 other occasions, and on each occasion, it got quieter and quieter. The reason for this was that there was a growing vocal resentment from the majority there, and a few verbals were exchanged.

Those that were singing that were also wishing Levy dead!! They also booed one of our own players when coming onto the field. What do you think about that?

As much as I don't want Levy at the club, wishing death on him is totally unacceptable.
West ham fans were signing in reference to David Gold last night, "Daniel levy it should have been you".
A hammer's fan I know messaged this morning to say what they were singing.

From what I gathered there was a healthy amount of fans singing “levy out” the fact I could hear it so clearly numerous times throughout the match would back that up, even when we were winning 4-0 I heard the chants clear as day.

You’re trying to stir up an argument I wasn’t having, I made no mention of wishing death on levy, you did. Obviously I don’t agree with chants signing about his death and would imagine nobody on this forum would condone that. To be Honest I didn’t even hear those chants during the game was only when I spoke to people after did I hear there were some idiots singing that.

Absolute scum aren't they?

I've no issue with people wanting to protest over something they aren't happy about, I've protested against the move to Stratford, but that was done outside of the ground, a couple of people held up a banner inside the stadium a couple of times but it was largely outside the ground, it got coverage in the media etc..

But slagging off our own players, and wishing death threats is utter scum, needs to stop and doesn't do the support of the team any good, that's why you do it outside, don't bring the negativity into a stadium.

My account of what happened is from loads of mates that go to every away game for years, it was about 100-200 fans, so enough to be audible, but the away allocation was sold out, so that 2000 fans, hence it's a minority.

As I said above in another post, everyone has the right to protest if they feel the need to, but there are ways to and there are definite redlines. They were crossed last night. It will kick off if it continues 100%.

The constant chopping of managers, that is on the fans though.

When Poch lost control, the majority wanted him out.
When Mourinho came up, the majority wanted him out
No one wanted Nuno but the majority wanted him out after the United game
When Conte came up, the majority wanted him in.
I don't think there's a majority that want Conte out but it's sizeable and building (up until Palace, anyway)

The shift from project managers to a-cup-at-any -cost managers is 100% pressure from fans that want cups, not progression.

Not quite sure. Poch was 50/50 even though it was bad many people thought he had credit in the bank for a rebuild. Jose and Nuno just played dogshit football so that was clear, other managers like Jol and Redknapp fans where fine with mostly so the sacking was not pushed by them. I don’t see a majority of fans wanting Conte out, we’d be back to Nuno type managers.

Many of you would be surprised, that I have never booed players or wished death onto them or their family.
I say this as someone who isn't the most popular of posters, due to my outspoken nature, plus I can be off to people if I think they are being funny to me.
So yes it is disgusting, we can all have our thoughts and opinions on matters related to the club we love, but wishing people dead is another level of low.

Jelly and ice cream, pass the parcel etc

Very nicely put.

I’ve not voted for a few reasons.

I fall in the middle on most points. I could vote yes - but I feel any American owners will push for ESL and I’m not sure that is something fans really want.
I don’t really want the club to be owned by a state either.
What does that leave? Elon musk? The bloke interested in Chelsea, then Man Utd and now possibly us? If he’s happy to spend billions then why not? Change can be good.

But ENIC do what they say on the tin - a very slick marketing machine. The stadium is a thing of beauty, football wise recently we have fallen at the last hurdle - mainly due to players and management not stepping up when needed.

On a more personal note ENIC no longer take any money from me and I’ve personally benefitted from the amount of regeneration around the area so I’d be a bit of a hypocrite to complain about what they have done / achieved. It’s there for all to see when they walk down the high road, the area has improved massively.

I don’t buy the we were so great in the past either. Going through the decades from the 60s.
We won the double, got relegated, won a European trophy with mainly homegrown players and non league players and then won an FA cup and almost went bankrupt straight after. Highlights after that 2 league cup wins and mid table obscurity.
Then recently a CL final and best league positions consistently since the 60s. We have improved since they took over IMHO.
And we are not Real Madrid or Liverpool in terms of past glory’s.

This vote flip flops depending on the league position / mood. I’m convinced that the vote would not look the same when we were 3rd and pushing the top 2 a matter of days / weeks ago.

Maybe Zomb is right. A relegation party would be the only way that a true ENIC out movement begins. Until that day it’s just a few angryish people on the internet and at the ground. People are still giving ENIC their hard earned £sss anyway. In which case their “investment” is paying dividends.

But the main reason I have not voted is a friend died on NYE and tbh this vote means absolutely nothing. It’s a nice way to waste a bit of time I guess.
But I won’t give one flying fuck about it on my death bed. And neither will anyone else arguing about it right now. At least I hope they don’t for their sake.

So I’m chilling out with my puppy snoring asleep on my feet. Then back to work in a couple of hours. :(

Life is good. Hopefully spurs win tonight and make it better.
Agreed theres Far more important things in life than football. But that’s why I think roll the dice with new owners & we actually might get a bit of success & joy out of this short life & cold world. Rather than worry about new owners not doing well. As you say. You’re not gonna care on your death bed about that. & it be hard to be any worse with our resources & position etc.
& if you truly think enic would sell to owners who would be bad for us then that tells you all you need to know about them!

Yeah I’m not averse to a bit of change and would love to see us win the league or champions league a lot more than I want to see us win the Audi or carabao cup. I just don’t see ENIC as the “bad guys”. They are business guys. Football is a massive business these days. Footballers wages are mental.

And I’m 100% of the belief the ESL will happen one day.
Especially if more American owners get involved in the ownership of premier league clubs.

Then the question is - is it better to be competing in that or trying to win the Premier League “lite” with Everton, Fulham and West Ham?

Sorry to hear about your friend. You're spot on in highlighting a key point about this argument. It's ok to be passionate about the club, but if you have big and often emotionally draining things going on in life, the weekly soap opera of any football team should not be all consuming.

At it's best, football is an incredible division from painful times. The football at the moment isn't going to do that, but it's inevitable that some of the factors causing this will change.
If people want to get upset about something, maybe invest some of that passion into what's happening at the NHS at the moment. If you're a casualty of that crisis, you really have something to fight about.
Fingers crossed we get a reaction tonight and we'll all feel better.
That’s true. But equally if you are going to spend your life defending & supporting anyone in this world….. NHS etc are worthy. Not horrible billionaires like Lewis or millionaire’s like levy.

Yes but the point is if you want ENIC out you need a Multi-billionaire to buy us. In the 90s it was easier for some local self made millionaire to buy a club and inject funds. These days those multi-millionaires will bankrupt themselves just buying a couple of years of Premium Memberships.

The number of available buyers is a small pool, and they need to be willing to buy us in the first place. Shouting "ENIC out" does nothing. It's not like Levy can walk up and down the High Road asking in the local boozers if anyone wants a second hand football club. And that's why I can't spend that much energy being all worked up on "ENIC out".
Maybe but surely it’s worse to get worked up over fans criticising enic/levy? Imagine spending most of your days arguing against them, personally attacking them & getting emotional about random fans not liking the chairman & owner you like.
Calling ‘enic out’ posters mean names will do nothing either.

For every one of those fans there will be plenty more throughout the rest of the football pyramid who think we're mugs & STILL mock us for a lack of silverware. I don't think there's some consensus among non-Spurs fans outside the top 6 that we're in a privileged position.

Maybe there is, someone should take a trip to some other clubs forums .. run a poll .. actually, fuck that.
Yeah I don’t get where this other fans are jealous of us is coming from. We are usually the butt of jokes in the media & amongst other fans. I rarely hear the opposite. I think the enic fans think other fans think as highly as they do us. When in fact they usually associate us with being losers with an empty trophy cabinet.

Really? Perhaps you should familiarise yourself with that particular poster from yesterday.
This was the person in one of the threads, who was telling people that they were simple minded.
Have you pulled them up for that, or could it be that they share your views so are exempt from your lecture.#noagendamuch
Another one pretending to be neutral yet constantly attacking enic out posters & defending enic in posters. They always seem ashamed for some reason.

ENIC less Corrupt? By what standard are you measuring? They stealing from every Single Fan. Everything is more expensive. Our Tickets, Apparel, Stadium Food, Beer....etc are all of the most expensive. Their real estate portfolio has grown more than 100 fold. While this has happened "Our Beloved Football Team has remained a shot in the dark".

Wanna talk about Corrupt. They just use legal Avenues to take more and more for themselves.

I Live overseas. Came down to UK for visit and ended up watching a Liverpool match because I couldn't afford the Spurs experience.

:mourfinger: Here what I think of Their Corruption.
We have too many fans supporting these billionaires ripping off poor & working folk. High Ticket prices, food & merch etc. Then more than happy with millionaire levy getting millions as a bonus. Rip off the poor & support the rich getting richer.
