levy very may well have tried his very best for the club to win things...but it didnt! 1 league cup in his 23 years of chairman is not good enough. cant blame that on bad luck.

If I recall, Redknapp has been quoted before as saying that it was Joe Lewis that ordered his sacking, not Daniel Levy, and that Levy wanted him to stay.

Whether that was BS fed to him by Levy to appease him or the truth, we will never know.
