£5 million could be used for something else
He just doesn’t need it so channel it elsewhere in parts of the game that need it
Alan Sugar loved the idea that we were one of the 'top' clubs when we rarely lived up to the name. He pushed the narrative of the past constantly, showing clips of the double winning team on the big screens, and then moaning about how the fans were living in the past.
Sorry I disagree with this Sugar would constantly tell us fans that we were no longer a big club and should get used to it.
He oversaw the downsizing of the stadium 47k to 36k
Nearly every TV or radio show or live game had some ex player from another team arguing we were no longer a big club in the 90s

There is no £5m ... it will come from donations from EPL club chairmen to Scudamore ... doesn't belong to the EPL or the FA so how are they supposed to channel it anywhere?
Fair play that's an A+ postI'm cool.......
It’s been estimated that he will receive £5 million over the three years that he will act as an adviser
Ok each chairman should put the amount that they’re going to donate into grass roots football in their Clubs area
£250k being talked about
Agree 100% Bazali ... if that was an option it should be taken ... but as you know it isn't ...
To be fair to many EPL clubs they put far more than £250k into grass roots football, the issue a lot of clubs have (certainly we do) is that money given to the FA has gone on a million other things rather than the grass roots, we would much rather do it directly, with all the PR that brings, than sponsor the FA to waste it ...
That says a lot about how poor the FA is at looking after our national sport ...
Bit off topic, as of course Scudamore is EPL not FA ... maybe the EPL should get involved in grass roots? far better though if the FA were to get itself fit for purpose .....
Not sure where else this fits in
