What the fuck are you talking about?

2 league titles vs 11 league titles whilst we had 1 more FA Cup.

The could attract players like Henry, Campbell, Petit, Overmars, Viera and many more when we were fielding Perry and Taricco.

Just lying to yourself but if you somehow think we were on par with Woolwich pre Enic (90s) then it probably explains the delusional thoughts that we should be winning league titles.

ENIC took over 2000? I think?

Look at the trophy records between 1985 and 2005. Chalk and cheese isn’t it.

Spurs have never dominated like Liverpool & United did after the 60's when they had their periods of sustained dominance. But until City, no one has really.
Loads of teams have had a go. Everton won a few titles, Villa, Woolwich. Forest, but it was always those 2 really. Liverpool through the 70's and 80's and United through the 90's and 00's

But you shouldn't underestimate where we were when Levy took over.
Only United, Liverpool and Woolwich had won more than us.
And still only those 3, with now City and Chelsea have won more than us.
Yes we sit 6th for trophies won with only 2 pots separating us, Villa and Everton. Quite a gap from the teams above us 3, and quite a gap to the teams below.

Maybe its my timing of supporting Spurs from 1990 but I certainly saw us on a level with Villa and Everton where we have pushed on to a much better position under Levy than those clubs have under their respective owners. And these are the clubs I measure our relative success against more than Liverpool, United or Woolwich. Chelsea and City are different for obvious reasons.

Taking up supporting Spurs in 90 I could be told of the past 2 decades winning a few cups having a few players, but it wasn't live it was ever sold to me or I ever believed we were some kind of force in English football other than a very brief period in the 60s.

Woolwich had 11 league titles to our 2 when Enic took over (2001).

Since then they have only won 2 more league titles (shortly after they took over) but 7 FA Cups.
They had a much more decorated history before Enic took over and have improved on that since.

And Paul Gascoigne. Jurgen Klinsmann. Gary Lineker. David Ginola.

A bit earlier. Osvaldo Ardiles, Ricardo Villa. Jimmy Greaves.

As I said earlier. Stop belittling your own club while deep throating the enemy.

It's disgusting 🤢

Oh yes. You also overlooked the fact we were the more successful club in Europe

Funny how this Mampi guy spamming the thread coincides with Shadydan Shadydan disappearing....

:sonhmm:

Even he must be embarrassed / disgusted by the anti-Spurs, Woolwich love in on display. 💩

This forum never ceases to surprise

You are the cunt that can't accept who we are as a club and our identity, desperate to emulate the bigger boys.

I'm content with my team - it's you that wishes to be like one of those other clubs, and you that's gurgling and testing your gag reflexes in desperation to emulate them.

What are you going on about. Don't we all want to emulate the bigger teams. That's the whole point. We want to win league titles and champions leagues and not be a club just going through the motions every season hoping to secure 4th place.

So you're saying you're a loser

Ok
Saying I support a bunch of losers.
Fuck all I can do about it, but whining relentlessly about our ownership is your coping mechanism whereas mine is supporting the team and acknowledging progress has been made beyond what most other clubs have experienced with sugar daddy exceptions.

Yes but we don't win anything.
So moaning about the owners makes you a winner? Does it fuck.

Over Levy's reign I have understood the logic behind probably most decisions at the time, even the bad ones.

I genuinely believe he wants us to win things and won't feel ready to leave until we do under him - as a fan himself. Whilst making money is important for him personally and the club, if that was his end game I think selling up where we are now would prove a ridiculous ROI. I just think this is his way of making us progress towards it gradually, sustainably and responsibly.

He's doing and has done a far better job than pretty much all the half cut fuckwits I see at the ground would have done - though they genuinely believe otherwise. Probably people that live financed upto their eyeballs (as most people are) calling shots for how a multi billion pound COMPANY should be run.

Wow!

So if you don't support ENIC......you don't support Spurs.

just
WOW!
Comes hand in hand.
You support Spurs and want us to win games and trophies, then a bi product is supporting Enic and their continually increasing share price whether you like it or not.

Just buy some shares in the club for yourself and open yourself to a whole new world of support.
