If we somehow got relegated next season some folk would still be convincing themselves the extra revenue is somehow being used to benefit the football team. 😆
It's fucking bizarre
Funny how 15 clubs without such revenue sit above is in the table and invest more of their income in their football team than we do.

1 - Levy had a figure in mind for the naming rights and wouldn’t move from it.

I don’t think he’s turned down good money to improve brand awareness. He, like you, is a numbers guy. He’s not going to be talked into brand awareness strategies like this.

Signing a bunch of teenagers is not a problem in itself particularly as Bergvale & Gray look good. It is not buying top players to compliment them at the same time that is the problem. The top players probably would not come to the team 5th from bottom but last summer we were 5th from top and more attractive.

Exactly.

And we all know that if any of these teenagers excel it's only a matter of time until they're angling for a move to a club with more ambition to win and more willingness to pay the wages they can command.
