Why are people wanting to pack in the cup? We ain’t winning the league but we have a decent shot of winning the Carabao Cup, FA Cup and Europa League.

That’s a treble. I’ll take that every day of the week. It’s time to give our Audi Cup some fucking company 😂

"It's an incentive not to test".

Fuck me, how detached are people becoming from each other? Even if you're one of those anti-mask nutjobs who thinks this is just a flu, it's still a deadly pandemic and you're happy to be willfully ignorant and have your full squad of players and staff play and likely infect other humans until the entire world of footballers and staff and eventually their families have got it.

Ultimately, this is the EFL's fault. They're the ones that released ridiculous guidelines for testing in League One and Two. They're the ones who created the rules for this very situation, which are now being ignored.

This entire thing is a powderkeg waiting to explode because of the disparities between the leagues, a situation that was entirely predictable, but no meaningful steps were taken to address it.

Why?

We didn't do anything to create this situation.

Its not like the EFL wanted the game to go on but we protested, which even if we did that would be the right decision. The rules were clear and laid out for everyone.
Just shows some compassion towards smaller clubs, that amount is a peanut to us, means a lot more to them.

They really are inept aren't they?

To me it reeks of the EFL trying their hardest not to upset broadcasters or betting agencies. So easier to defer it to the government who have no incentive to go ahead with it.

Wankers.

Several Orient players have tested positive, there's no way the game should go ahead and there will be a torrent of criticism if the match is played.

What is there to discuss and why is it taking so long?
