When both teams are at their best and with an even handed ref we are more than a match for them.
They were there for the taking in the CL final but we didn't exploit it.
The difference this season is they have all the belief in the world after the CL win, every player wants to be there and is putting in 8/10 performances week in week out, and if they don't they have 5-6 on the bench that can come in and will.
Our players and manager seem to have been feeling sorry for themselves since the CL final, the game on Tuesday night was the first time I've seen us putting a proper shift in this season.
I still don't think we are winning this game, but I think if we show up we can give them a good game.

Good luck to our new manager if that is true. He has to get our team matching Liverpool or bettering them or else its his fault we aren't better than them. That is a lot of pressure to put on a new manager. Mr new manager, our team is as good as liverpool's so we want us to be as good or if not better than them. In fact above city too if liverpool do win the league like I expect. Basically finish top or else you have under performed. So a new manager will have to win us the league if liverpool finish ahead of city this year or else its down to him for not getting this good team we have to top spot.
But me & you see it differently. I can only think of kane from our team they would probably want. & even then they have a lot of good options in attack. Maybe ndombele too if he fulfills his potential.
His last one for a start. He’d be even better if he played under a top manager like Klopp.

If pochettino has awoken from his slumber he might have a chance but he still needs to add a striker and a central defender, regardless of me and you have written.

I for example expect us to lose, because... well we are playing really-really poorly. I enjoyed this 5:0 win for a change, but this was very specific situation and against lesser team. We will have so much less time on the ball when we play Liverpool, that there is absolutely nothing same between those two games than rules (and that one participant is Spurs). I also am confident that we should still replace Pochettino as a manager.
But neither of those aspects would not make me WANT to see Spurs lose! Hell no!! I always want us to win

& I don't doubt some would sacrifice more losses if it meant getting rid of poch sooner for the greater good of the club in terms of the long term.
Yeah nothing wrong in a difference of opinion. Like I say, if our players are as good as liverpools, & liverpool win the title ahead of city. Then any new manager should really win the title for him to be considered a success. If klopp can do it with equal players than so should he.

Player to player it's not too much difference, and dare I say it perhaps Spurs edging it in all areas except for defence with the exception of perhaps Mane who I really rate. Salah isn't the player he was in that standout season, he scores but only because he's fed about 5 golden opportunities every game.
Outside 1st eleven its kinda close but liverpools 1st eleven is considerably better. Staggering that people are actually suggesting our Squad is as good as theirs
