Sergio Reguilon is enduring a dismal time on loan at Atletico Madrid from Tottenham this season and now, Spanish outlet Estadio Deportivo claim Spurs do not have him in their plans next term – and neither do Diego Simeone’s side.
Reguilon, 26, has managed just five outings for Atleti since his loan move to the club from Spurs last summer. It comes after just two years at Spurs prior, playing just 67 games in both league and cup. He has a contract at Spurs until 2025.
Having returned from injury at Atleti, he has managed five outings in all competitions. But, has found himself back on the bench and since picked up another issue. The report from Spain now gives a clue – or lack of it – on his future.

It was big weekend for Rennes and Djed Spence as they shocked PSG with a 2-0 win away at the Parc des Princes and the Spurs right wing-back got plenty of praise for his performanc
The 22-year-old played for 78 minutes and helped shut out PSG's attacking stars Lionel Messi and Kylian Mbappe. Spence completed 31 of his 34 passes, made three recoveries, won eight of his 11 duels against the PSG attack and only committed two foul
He also earned a place in L'Equipe's Ligue 1 Team of the Week for his performance against the Parisian outfi

Leeds United defender Djed Spence picked up a knee injury following a challenge in training last week, and following scans, we can confirm he has damaged his lateral collateral ligament.
The injury is not expected to require surgery and we expect Djed to return to play within eight weeks
