We can spend the rest of the budget on 2 forwards and a defender to cover LB/LCB. Maybe even a back up CB

Yeah it's THE priority area for this whole project to work.

I can get behind that. We'd have options for every role and the ability to break down defenders sitting narrow or keep the ball under pressure against defenders pressing up.

It is but by all reports and clips he was a fucking humongous step better than his opposition in the Swedish League. Obviously takes a few months to full adjust but he won't have a massive language or culture barrier and we don't need him to start straight away.

Swedish footballers leave home early for opportunities abroad quite often. Dejan moved to Bergamo at 15 with both of his parents staying in Stockholm.

Plus he's a legal adult so its not like they can order him to take one of them with him.

He's 18, kids go away to university all the time. Stockholm is less than a 3 hour flight and there's direct flights each way all day long. It's not like he's gone away to Indonesia alone.

Nonsense. I went to France for my studies as an 18 year old all alone, not even having stepped foot in France before that. Most students go all alone in foreign countries to finish their university, and they don't have the kind of money that a professional footballer does.
