Match Man City v TOTTENHAM HOTSPUR; Saturday 19th February; KO 17:30

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I agree that under the current rules it’s a definite pen, but it’s also something that needs to be changed.
Handball in the box really is all about intent for me, and I really can’t see what Romero did as deliberate. The guy was mid fall, of course his arms going to be flopping around.

Completely agree. That's why I've said all along he was really unlucky. But you can see why it was given, and down the other end we would be gutted if it wasn't.

Spot on Davey, what are you supposed to do, mentally run at them? They are the best team in the world on their day, they can tear even really decent teams to pieces, let alone one that came into the match in a pretty dark place.

I was impressed with how we kept our shape - might not have been pretty but for the first time in a few weeks now it looked like every player knew where there supposed to be, what they were supposed to do. The whole team were outstanding in the circumstances - the players that some like to pick on, Hojbjerg, Emerson, Davies, Dier and so on were all excellent in their work rate, team play, concentration and so on. Perfect? No of course not, nor were City's superstars, but given how much hate they get on here they all deserve a medal
id take them tactics against the top 6 all day long as it gets results. i enjoy watching them performances, thats a professional job to do that for 90 and get the result. get as much joy from watching that as i would tearing a bottom 5 side apart 5-0

He pretty much looks at Guardiola as if to say "Sorry mate"
I think this should be investigated, honestly, the fact that so much time was added on as well, looks very dodgy.

Literally looks like he is genuinely upset and almost saying sorry to Pep, it's a glimpse into what I believe is a wider issue in this league.

People might laugh and shrug it off as some conspiracy nonsense but we have seen corruption at all levels in sport, why people think the PL, the most moneywashed league in sports, is above it, I don't know...

Maybe people are worried that if they question the possibility it is happening it will ruin football for them?

I am not one for conspiracy theories, I actually fucking hate that kind of thinking but for the longest time I have suspected it in the PL and I think enough evidence is there to warrant a proper investigation.

If corruption can happen at the top level of government under Boris, it can happen in the PL, make no mistake.
