Owners aren’t fans though. Despite what they might say it’s a business, their first priority is always financial stability then profit.

As it should be.
Well, if they are just looking at a football club just to make profit then they are in the wrong business.

You need results in the end in sports because its the fans that brings in the revenue and fans have expectations when they are patronizing their team.

As it should be.

We should strive for top 4?
not trophies?
Small club mentality. you got right there.
Top 4 is a given. I expect us to make that every year.

If you don't have ambition you wont achieve anything.

Pretty ignorant attitude, but..............

You were literally just talking about wealth.... We aren't the 4th richest club in the league (nor have we ever been since the arrival of ENIC); so why are you taking top 4 for granted?

You completely twisted what I said, please learn to read and comprehend.

The club view top 4 as a priority, not me.

That doesn't mean they don't strive or care about trophies, it just means they prioritise one over the other.

Smooth Operator: Sheikh Jassim moves on from failed Manchester United bid, turns attention to Tottenham Hotspur.

BREAKING: Qatari reports suggest that Sheikh Jassim now has his sights set on another Premier League club in north London stalwarts Tottenham Hotspur. A meeting with Chairman Daniel Levy has even been mooted for early November, with hopes high that a deal can be struck by both sides.

Meanwhile, insiders have told us that the Qatari has been left hugely impressed by the job Steven Gerrard is doing in Saudi Arabia. If a deal can be reached to bring Tottenham under the Qatari's portfolio, Jassim's first act will be to replace incumbent manager Ange Postecoglou with the Liverpool legend, who is seen as a more attractive long term option.

Ole Sheik ya money can go fuck himself.
Gerrard over Ange?
That’s a human rights violation in itself.
