I think that's the consequence of so many things, but probably.

Dragusin has been absent for a year through injury so isn’t going to be at it straight away, but yes it doesn’t necessarily mean he is good enough.
If Romero and VDV don’t want to be here then I’d rather they moved on. You say about ambition and mention in an earlier post players like Modric, Bale, etc, yet they got their moves by their actions on the pitch that as a result benefited both us and the individual.
You use our inability to replace them adequately as a reason to retain them. If there’s a problem sourcing replacements of a suitable standard then the recruitment process and personnel behind it needs an overhaul. That isn’t a reason to retain players that stink the joint out attitude wise.
I’m not advocating going forward with Dragusin and Danso as our first choice centre back pairing. I’m saying move on any player that doesn’t give 100% for THFC and recruit replacements of similar or ideally better ability. I don’t know what’s so controversial or difficult to understand about that.
To build the right culture within the club you need to at least start with players that want to be here, rather than ones that are desperate to leave and as a result influence the culture accordingly.

Literally every single part of this post is all kinds of wrong so it's pointless even addressing it but this is the funniest part about it, it's as if you don't pay attention to how shit and stupid our recruitment has been, like when is the penny gonna drop, wake up man![]()
Is your reading level Year 6 or something?Literally every single part of this post is all kinds of wrong so it's pointless even addressing it but this is the funniest part about it, it's as if you don't pay attention to how shit and stupid our recruitment has been, like when is the penny gonna drop, wake up man![]()

Seems pretty self explanatory to me!![]()
But is he pissed off because we're losing and he wants to win with us or is it because we're losing and he wants out? These are two very different things.I’ve watched it more than I should have and he was talking to Dragusin anyway. When he actually did speak to Micky VDV, he got a response straight away.
If VDV was all song and dance, happy smiley atm I’d be more concerned. It’s a good thing that he’s permanently pissed off because we’re losing games.
It’s down to the club management to put the proper recruitment department in place. What does that even mean? It's obvious we need a recruitment overhaul but we don't know what that overhaul looks like or when it actually is going to happen so until then selling your best players isn't the way to do things.

If he wants to win with us, following the manager's instructions would be a good start.
OkYou're welcome to respond to it or you can continually taking jabs, suggest you grow up personally.

You don’t keep players of poor mentality or attitude just because they are good players when they deign to be and otherwise influence the culture negatively.
Why do you think Poch had a clear out when he arrived and was ruthless when his authority was questioned? Why do you think Andros Townsend was ejected so quickly?
You build a winning mentality with players that leave everything on the pitch, not ones that are more concerned in their next move because they believe they are above you.
Yes agreed.Yeah when you actually look at the squad, it hardly strikes me as full of lazy players and 'bad eggs' tbh. There are a clearly a few that have priors (Biss, Spence) and seemingly Romero was late and can be difficult, but when I scroll through our squad I largely see pretty nice young lads with a sprinkling of solid older/mid 20s characters. I think we've got a pretty average group of players, attitude-wise. And the majority of them are willing to run very hard for the team when managed right.
There's clearly a lack of leadership in the group and maybe the culture's become a bit rotten, but I think that's more borne of poor squad-building, bad management and a gradual degradation of standards and quality from up above rather than cos we've signed a bunch of lazy arseholes.
Come back when your reading has progressed to Year 7!
Something isn’t right with all the injuries we’re experiencing.Yes agreed.
A much bigger problem is that we've stuffed our squad with injury-prone players. The medical team is probably substandard but this situation is ridiculous.

I thought the medical team had been completely overhauled in the summer?
You’re the one that can’t seem to grasp what’s being said re recruitment and correct player attitude in relatively straight forward language, so what’s the point debating it further?!Didn't want to address the rest of the post then, nah thought not
Sometimes it's best for you to stay on read only mode and chill out, not every debate is for you, pal![]()
