I actually think they don't want to upset what tentative relationship they think have with the new good guy conte. Last week and this it's not right. It's not even if the decisions they had to make in both were open to interpretation. Probably get wrapped up in the status of it all. Wouldn't be surprised if conte went out of his way to be amiable and they both think he likes them. Cannot be anything else really. They both gave him yellows following this years protocol yet one fails to card him again for a cardable offence and the other for a blatant breach of last years clampdown conning the ref.
