Ex-Spurs Player Moussa Sissoko

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

Why would I want him to fail? That's ridiculous. I'd like to see him do his talking on the pitch, not making dubious excuses off it.
He's not making excuses - all your comments towards him are negative and derogatory (lazy gooner cunt, etc.) Fair enough you don't rate him - but let's give him a chance, he's ours now.

I haven't commented on him since the transfer. I've not been waiting for him to fuck up so I can slate him. I'm not convinced yet, that's all.

And he's definitely a gooner.

He said absolutely nothing wrong in that interview. I think some of the abuse sissoko gets from spurs 'fans' is verging on bullying. Literally trying to nit pick every little thing he says or does and find some sort of fault with it. its actually quite sad to see but whatever floats peoples boat.

But it's pointless making statements like that. You can fool people with art or music, but not football. You can't pretend you're something you're not - he has to prove himself.

Why is it ok for you to bash Janssen at every opportunity? You're no different.

I don't buy the "he's a Spurs player so we must like him" argument.
Look at Adebayor. Never accepted.
I believe the same will happen here with Sissoko. Only way to win us over is with 30M pound performances.
Not playing like Dave from Sunday league FC.

Me personally, can't stand the bloke.

You have got to give him a chance .
Yes he's a conceited wanker , wasted money at 30 million, would have preferred
a creative attacking midfielder than another muscle mary .
We have him and he may be an asset long term but give him to the end of the season .
His age and price should dictate that he comes good quickly but he doesn't look good so far .

He is an international, he can play and he needs to be given a go: We cannot afford to have another Ade bun fight: Too counter productive!

There is a difference between a player that has played for a particular team than someone who wants to play for them as there are several players there that speak his language. He is french and so how much notice did he take of the Premiership? I do not believe we should ever buy a player or install a Manager that has played or Managed the Scum. However I am prepared to accept Sissoko IF he starts proving himself which at present is just not happening. This never happen with Adebayor even when scoring goals.

I keep my critiquing of janssen strictly about football. i state what he does good countless times (hold up play and his strength) but ultimately i do not think he is the type if striker we need/needed.

What i dont do is go around calling him a cunt or other derogatory things and i also dont try and twist things he's quoted as saying (especially when what hes saying isnt even negative ffs). A big difference.

Ok, that's fair.

Sissoko has played like shit though. Janssen, for all his woes in front of goal so far, has at least looked like a professional footballer. He holds the ball well & introduces others into attacking positions unlike that cunt Sissoko who looks like a French Carlton Palmer & spends half his life blabbing about shite on twitter

:troll:

The thing is he hasn't been shit. His games have been by and large meh, (Spurs have been meh though), he has had one poor game (Leverkusen, along with everyone else) and one very good game against City. If he can reproduce that City performance then he will be a positive influence on this team.

actually i think Janssen has looked like a little boy lost in most games and Sissoko's performance against City was better than anything Janssen has produced for us.

Either way they both need to improve.

Not that I'm on a mission to put the guy down but a large portion of the clips in that video showed him giving the ball way or atracks breaking down when the ball got to him. Whilst I think you could argue that showing all touches by any player in any match will usually show him fuckjng up from time to time, there were maybe two or three moments of real quality in that whole 5 minutes and not anything that would make me think wow he had a really great game.

The game is/was regarded as the fastest tempo game played this season, it was the feature of the game. The results of that meant there was turnover by both teams, with us basically winning the ball higher up than the pitch than City.

Sissoko's link up with Walker and Wanyama was a feature of the game. The biggest influence was his protection and covering of Walker and enabling us to play out through their press with one and two touch passes. Going forwards there wasn't much but we dominated them where we needed to and won the game so it's fair to say who cares.
