If you are a good man manager and leader of men, it doesn't matter where you have managed before... Postecoglu has had success at every level and is highly regarded within the City group...People just want big names and these as have been shown before, simply do not work at Spurs... I've no doubt Postecoglu would be a success at Spurs if he was given time and allowed to run the football side of things himself...
The only thing he might struggle with is the agents of the prima Donna premiership players who seem to run every facet of the game in England these days

I could get behind a Postecoglu type signing, IF we had identified him as our top target.

We haven't though, so he's just the "cheap" option. As usual.

The clubs only plan on the football side is to do everything on the cheap.

Mate , I'm a Celtic fan and certainly hope Spurs don't get him 😂😂
I'm just amazed at the disrespect being thrown at him ...to be fair when he arrived at Celtic, we were underwhelmed to say the least...then we started to listen... The guy is an outstanding manager

I think there are definitely worse options out there than Rodgers, however I couldn’t tell you what our supposed plan and route we were trying to go down is if he is part of it.
The problem with hiring Rodgers is that it completely betrays ENIC’s ambition. How do they try and spin that?

‘We are building for the future so have hired the manager sacked for largely helping Leicester get relegated’.

I think ENIC only really have one option, and it’s Nagelsmann.

lol I don't want Brenton but people are being completely disingenuous on purpose just because they don't want him.

Nagelsmann's agent still hasn't squashed the speculation like he has with Chelsea...

yup, I have to believe it's him, the alternative is us actually being Everton but too blinkered to see it

Fair dos but I believe it's a more a reflection on the failed attempts of 'top' managers trying their luck in the prem and failing, and less about your club and this individual.

I don't want us to be another experiment

What’s his manner like?

Why do you think people have taken to him so much?

I'd say he is a leader of men and has a massive presence about him.he has integrity which is something Rodgers lacks..his players would run through brick wall for him...if you are not interested in training, he won't consider you for a game regardless of how much you cost or what your name is which is why given the agents down there, he might have confliction with....He also handles the press very well ... Bottom line for me is him leaving would be a devastating loss for us and a massive win for you guys.... I can't see it happening though as I'm sure he has unfinished champions league business

I watch a lot of serie A, and Italiano could be perfect for us.
attacking manager, works a lot with young players, uses every player of the squad with lots of rotations, able to build a project starting from zero.
his main scheme is 433, but can switch to 4231

Apparently the compensation they can ask for JN ends after the season.

The only hope to cling to is that they have secretly been making a deal with Nagelsmann for when that period ends and that was why they distanced themselves from him.

Would also make some sense of Slot breaking down so fast without any negotiation even getting started.

IF and it’s the biggest if ever, we’d have to give Levy some credit for having a plan all along and being prepared to take the vitriol.

This is actually similar to what I thought just over a week ago

Slot is obviously in talks but no way is it a done deal yet. I hope Levy isn't using Slot as a smokescreen for his real target.

I wouldn't rule out Alonso or the Celtic bloke ,......................or even Nagelsmann. I wouldn't be surprised if Levy is up to something

Waking up to no news is better than waking up to yesterday’s

Tottenham Hotspur where no news is good news
Oh come on, I defy anyone to claim that yesterday wasn't peak entertainment, and after all isn't that the business THFC are in, the entertainment business???

Today feels positively bereft of entertainment in comparison.

More days like yesterday and I reckon a ST price hike could be in order...
