For the off the record record...I'm very reliably informed he didn't get but a fraction of the quoted sums. Levynomics inserted sub- clause B after sub -clause B.
In the summer it was reported to be heavily clause ridden too.
I keep geek stats on each game I go to. Saw 7 games under Nuno (all comps), Won 5 Lost 2 which actually gives him a far higher win % than any other manager in the past 30 years. (Again just my personal attended stats).
Like everyone I know it was the performances that got the criticism. Mental to think after 3 games this season we were top with the only 100% record in the country. A couple of months later and the change was brutal.
It didn't work out but I can't begrudge him any of the money he was contracted to get.

If he was only deemed a short-term measure then I'm glad we didn't splash out on a bunch of Nuno-ball players.
He was always gonna be a stop gap for the time being hence why Levy knocked back Traore , I just think that we didn't envisage things to get this bad this quick - he really ought to have been doing better that he was with the players at his disposal though.
He was never the right fit and I think he needs a break. For me he just looked like he was going through the motions somewhat from the very beginning. He's not a bad manager, he'll do well someone else for a club that's the right fit for his personality and philosophy.

That just means this season was being written off before it started.
A stop gap that wont be supported..why give up on a season(or 2 if that was how long the contract was) before its started.
Not really..... We bought players as per our DOFs vision for the squad..... Kinda what DOFs do.
DOFs get managers and players are that not suited to each other?
