I understand, but others just may have a different way of coping and it doesn’t mean they don’t feel the pain that you do.
Exactly!

As I posted previously, don’t misread gallows humour for not giving a shit.

I’ve spoilt too many family weekends getting in a tiswas over THFC and friends and family not into football, have thought me nuts letting 22 grown men kicking a football around a pitch dictate my mood, considering what other challenges some people have to deal with.

I thought to myself, ‘They’re right!’ We do this for entertainment and enjoyment (not been much of that lately) and I need to put that into perspective.

Personally I frequently rely on gallows humour as a coping measure to stop me spiralling into a depressive funk and then that adversely affecting far more important aspects of my life.

No offence is meant, but please understand we’re all individuals and process emotions differently.

My mum has recently fractured her wrist and constantly lets everyone around her know she’s in pain. My uncle, her brother, is dealing with chronic arthritis that has significantly affected his mobility. I know he’s in dreadful pain, but he never, ever moans, just getting on with it. Both are in pain, but manage it very differently.

I really hope this doesn’t come across as some pious lecture, it really wasn’t meant to be! More an explanation from someone that uses gallows humour as his own personal coping mechanism. 😁

If we go down they can sell VDV, Romero, Udogie, Porro and the like but if they let Moore, Vuskovic, Bergvall, Gray, Williams-Barnett etc go then they will have destroyed anything hope of rebuilding under Poch or someone like McKenna.

The only hope in relegation is ENIC have had enough and Staverley and co rock up, we get Barber, a good DoF, Pochettino and rebuild around a young core but with some experience kept and add players where needed.

McKenna? No thank you. Poch is the guy this summer.

I agree we should bin the bellends. We need the cash anyway. Would be funny to just bench them for two seasons, but we need the cash.

If we get Poch this summer, I will be optimistic, irrespective of being in the Champo or not. The owners cannot afford to stay there. They have to get up or sell.

I want Poch and I think he will come relegation or not but the club need to obviously have backups.

Vuskovic and Bergvall aren't going to play a second of Championship football. Those are the kinds of talents the elite clubs will be circling. I think we'd be doing really well to keep Gray. If he stays for a season of Championship football we should build a statue of the lad.

These young talents will be the first names that City, Barca and Bayern will be coming to poach. I don't think the sporting directors of any of these clubs are going to want arrogant clowns like Porro and VDV in their dressing rooms.

won’t even be the elite clubs - we’ll get picked off by anyone in the pl- they’re all able to pay big wages

Why do people keep coming out with this kind of shite.

These guys are under contract.

They will also be at a club that will undergo a re-set, hopefully under Poch., but will have far greater resources than the oppo in the championship, and SHOULD come straight back up.

I think you will see both Porro and VDV being sold this summer. Because Tottenham need the cash, and do not want to pay the wages.
