Player Richarlison

Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

It’s been so long since we’ve had two proper starting 11 strikers, and it baffles me that some fans want to return to our gone years of vulnerability in only having one quality striker.
If we didn't have Richy, would you be willing to pay 60m for him so we'd have someone to rotate for Europa League? Because that's basically the same thing as refusing 60m to sell him.

Richy not wanting to piss away his career in Saudi doesn't equate to us "refusing" anything... Let alone 60m quid.

Richarlison maybe had a bit of a uncertain future but he's come out and said he wants to stay at Tottenham, how do you feel about him saying that and where does his future lie with what's going on?

Yes, not really sure where the uncertain future comes from. Not on my behalf.
When he was fit, he played all the time and he played well. But it was quite evident when he was missing, we had to play Sonny in there and cover areas. This is not about replacing Richy, for us, it is about adding to our squad.

We want to get stronger from every transfer window we’ve had and from my perspective I’d say Richy is part of what we want to build here. Last year, when he played, he was very, very good for us and hopefully this year we keep him healthy and he plays more. Having more quality and depth in that front third means we hopefully protect our players a bit more and cover our absences when they are not there.

Richy starting #9 gimmick.. back on.

I'm starting to like him more. It seems that he is not a quitter and is willing to work it out. He is not afraid to admit he is wrong and is willing re asses himself to be a better player.

He also wants to be here which is a huge plus for me like Sonny despite not everything going his way. He just needs to perform a bit better, find his stride and he could be a fan favorite.

When are the club going to get rid of him? He's had his chance. He's not scoring enough goals.

lol, when he got his chance he was scoring plenty of goals.

He has his shortcomings but scoring isn't one of them.

Lol the man scored one league goal in his first season with us. He scored 11 last season (all in a purple patch) and his record at Everton was just ok.

He’s a decent goalscorer. Nothing more.

His record at Everton was good considering the level they were at. Last season he over performed his xG.

Bringing up his first season with us is pointless, he barely got any minutes and had an xG of like 3.

He was in the 90 percentile for goals scored last season when he was playing.

That's more than decent. He's not a great overall footballer but he's a good goalscorer.

...he's not even a decent one. He's a brilliant goal misser.
His goals per shot is in the 76 percentile which is actually better than Haaland (not that he's a better goalscorer than him obviously but it puts it in perspective).

He's also makes up for that by being able to get a lot of shots off, which is also on par with Haaland.
