Much like that odd-ball game-show shit at HT with the bloke shouting at Porro & Solomon.
It's all a bit 'Clive James in Japan'.
He did just fine considering it's really his first meaningful run of games (+ what he had with us end of season) as a starter. A large factor in taking Uruguay to 3rd place.
He scored and he looked brilliant in one of the games (can remember who against), like the Rodi we know and love.
Really hoping he settles back in to the squad and the team. A few think he is a glorified clogger on here, I'm not sure what they are watching because I'm rarely disappointed in his performances for us.
Buzzing to see this guy back and on top form.

Have to say. The Chronicals of Bentancur sounds absolutely epic. I think it starts with the plane on route to the copa America a solar storm and the plane crashing through some kind of interdimesional portal...with only one survivor. Lolo.

Looking forward to seeing him on the pitch. Our midfield is a lot more composed when he is out there.
At his best, he’s comfortably the best midfielder we have.
Haven't seen it since Conte was around though, that's the problem.

Ange's update on Bentancur
Mon 19 August 2024, 22:10|Tottenham HotspurAnge Postecoglou gave a positive update on the condition of Rodrigo Bentancur at full-time at the King Power on Monday night after the midfielder was stretchered off late on in our 1-1 draw with Leicester.
In from the start against the Foxes, Rodrigo went down in the middle of a number of players after we had taken a corner with just over 70 minutes played.
Immediately, players of both sides beckoned for medical officials to make their way to the Uruguayan who appeared to lie motionless on the floor inside the box.
There were positive signs moments later though as he began to move his legs before sitting up and receiving oxygen. The incidents happened just yards away from where, 16 months ago, Rodrigo suffered his ACL injury back in February, 2023.
Speaking to SPURSPLAY after the game, Ange gave a positive update on our number 30's condition.
"My understanding is he's talking and he's conscious but obviously I'll let the medical team handle that."

They didn’t really show a replay of the incident, but I assume that’s what happened.
