Guardian show all South Americans look the same.
Watch them blame it on us since all Spurs players clearly look the same. They even dress the same whenever they play.
Sitting around with my family a couple of weeks ago watching a K-Drama set on Jeju and my (Korean-born not Korean-American) wife joked she couldn’t tell the male leads apart — not for the first time. We all laughed at her — even though she’s the smartest in the family.I'm probably in minority but the whole thing seems totally blown out of proportion for me.
This is quite possibly the funniest thing I've seen this year. Astonishing that a such a huge organsiation can make a fuck up of this nature when reporting THIS of all stories. Possibly the best example of irony I've ever seen.
Why do I think this is deliberate, the Romero agenda isn’t a made up thing
It wouldn’t surprise me if this would have been treated differently if RB was referring to another club’s player, and not his captain and friend. The disparity between the handling of Bentancur and Bissouma has been disappointing. Bit of a struggle to like the club at present.
First of all, it was meant as irony.Do you employ him? What as? Mistaking two humans of a similar height and build and complection is in no way the same as claiming all Koreans look alike. Amazed that needs explaining.
The all white middle class leftwaffe were all offended on Sons behalf and that’s what mattersFirst of all, it was meant as irony.
Secondly, Bentancur did not say all Koreans look alike - he said Son looked like one of his relatives (his cousin I think if I am not wrong).
Besides, when I lived in Africa, I was on several occasions mistaken for other white guys, being told we "all" look alike. Did I feel offended? No! Did I feel they were being racist? No, not at all.
What on earth are you smoking?First of all, it was meant as irony.

It’s a fake. I posted the original with the photo of RB.
Deleted.
Well, do you have proof that he meant that all Koreans looks like Son?What on earth are you smoking?
"Sonny's? It could be Sonny's cousin too as they all look the same."
you think he said that because he genuinely thought Son looked identical to his cousin?
It's not fake, they just edited the article after half an hour.
If you don't think things like this are on occasion deliberate you didn't follow the Daily Mails tendency to put stories about gangs near pictures of Rahim Sterling. I kind of think you might be right. Link Romero even tangentially to rascism in the wake of that Enzo story. Why do I think this is deliberate, the Romero agenda isn’t a made up thing
He's been white in Africa don't ya know so that's exactly the same......What on earth are you smoking?

You're not and I knew the overreaction, primarily stoked by our own fanbase, would lead to a disproportionate punishment. I absolutely do not condone what he said, not one bit, but the reaction is a reflection of what passes for the stocks these days plus the dumpster fire that is social media - plenty of people happily sat on their high horse virtue signalling their disapproval for their quick fix of social clout via likes.I'm probably in minority but the whole thing seems totally blown out of proportion for me.
I'm still hopefully he'll get his and will be e-mailing the FA if he isn't charged....Oh hang on having seen how he's playing the last thing I want is a lengthy ban. Scratch that. You're not and I knew the overreaction, primarily stoked by our own fanbase, would lead to a disproportionate punishment. Meanwhile, Enzo Fernández releases an actual hate fuelled single with his Argentinian teammates as backing singers and what does he get for his "apology"? A promotion to captain. Go figure.
"The anti-discrimination charity Kick It Out said it had received a “significant number” of complaints."![]()
