Part of the problem yes but any team in the world can looks terrible when it is led by 2 consecutive managers that are completely clueless, disorganised and uninspiring.

Essentially we have been a PL team run by a Sunday league setup the past 2 seasons and in the PL the margins are very fine.

You are very angry and rightly so but bleating on about selling the entire squad except Kinsky and danso is going to get you nowhere. What are you going to do next season when we still have at least 12 of the current playing squad still at the club?

Iread next to nothing into the last 7 games other than the fact we found a way to pick up the points we needed in order to survive.

If we were so good we would not be seeking to bring in what appear to be a number of new players.

Not saying we were amazing in those 7 games and certainly not saying we don’t need new players, but the results weren’t flukes and we stopped conceding loads of chances and generally only conceded one goal. In the last four months prior we conceded at least two goals every game which made it so tough to pick up points

I agree. We were by no means peak Barcelona but what RDZ achieved (with the players help) is remarkable.
We had a tight defence, could play better football and actually keep it having more possession in every game (I think?). The attack was horrific but we did enough.

This was all achieved with the same squad that hadn't won in months and without RDZ really changing too much. He kept it simple and basic.

Adding the players he wants and a full pre season Im sure that at least a few of these same players will be unrecognisable next season. People to are too quick to go from 'oh hes brilliant' to 'hes shit, get him out the club'.

Next year we will be top 3 in terms of football quality i am certain of that and that will be with alot of these same players

Bentencur has offered very little. It’s been a very forgetful few years with him He needs to be moved on. It’s time for a new start .

lol. We dominated the midfield in every single game pretty much and he was a huge part of them whilst allowing very very few chances again him being a huge part of that. He was world class under conte and is a very talented player. We would spend insane money trying to replace him with a player as ready made as him. But you probably think Bergvall is “way better” bentacur right now

There has to be major changes amongst senior personnel.

Ange was majorly flawed, but the players liked him.

Frank was awful on every level.

However it was 2 different playstyles which tells me the composition/chemistry of the players is just plain bad.

I don’t even think the players as individuals are particularly bad, but as a collective, the group is short on passing ability and IQ.

Out of the whole squad, I think it’s only Romero (going), Maddison (won’t be firing properly until the new year), & Kulusevski (not a factor) who are capable of slowing the game to their own pace and passing well.

Ange didn't and doesn't know what an elite EPL player is, Frank doesn't know anything. I have spent way too much time listening to what they both had to say in tactical break downs of their playing philosophy and team setups. They are both absolutely nothing burgers. With Ange at least genuinely wanting his horribly flawed football to attack the oponent.

But your point is spot on because these manifestly flawed coaches have helped along side Flange to construct the mother of all utterly unbalanced clusterf**ks.

Fifty million on Brennan Johnson, the sale of Keeley to be replaced with Kinsky, the stockpile of Gallagher,Sarr, Bissouma, Bentancur, Grey, Bergvall, the sale of Dier to buy Radu Dragusin. 60 million on Solanke when your other number nine is Richarlison, the purchase after a failed loan of Matty Tel, and adding a totally disinterested Randall Kolo Muani. The use of Porro, having him Lump the ball down the channel in lieu of ball progression. This is next level footballing illiteracy.

Way over the top.

Reason to be optimistic and hopeful but our football quality improving dramatically and a number of last season's players being part of that, I am less certain.

Let's see what the turnover is like and how quickly it is put together, and then go from there.

We escaped and played a bit better. We could hardly have looked worse.

You are entitled to you're own thoughts but even with our current team we had more possession in every game im sure under RDZ.

Im not sure why it is way over the top? We will outplay the vast majority of PL teams next season. Whether that translates to the points that domination deserves? Time will tell.

No we are not, and what part of finishing 17th for the last two years, do you not understand?

It's going to take time to sort this team out, it's a fucking mess right now.

Just get behind the team and support them, and don't push silly bollox unrealistic expectations on them FFS!

Expectations? No, it is my opinion based on the undoubted quality of our manager. Do you think if we re -run that season again with RDZ we finish 17th? No way and instead we would be in and around the mid table comfortably.

The team is a huge mess, thats true. But with the right additions we will be hugely improved.

We will be a proper team next year, even with youre hopeless negativity.

No one is doubting the quality of managers, we all know how good he is.

Regardless it still takes time to sort out a cluster fuck of a mess, regardless of how good the manager is.

It took Poch nearly a year to get the players playing the way he wants.

It takes time, will always take time, and top 3 is unrealistic silly bollox.

I never said we will finish top 3.

I said we will be one of the top 3 best footballing sides in the PL. As in quality of the football we play.
