Love the lad for so many reasons, but today showed how overmatched he is in this role. There's no shame in not being ready at 29. Who is? There's a reason nobody his age has managed at this level.

It occurred to me that if I'd been a shitty fan, I'd have been chanting "are you Jose in disguise?". Which would have pissed me right off, since it'd be right on the mark.

Winks over Ndombele because he wanted someone to hold his position, Bale and Sissoko on because Bale doesnt offer alot defensively, this is im sure HIS logic, almost worked but Sissoko can't track his runners
