Latest Spurs videos from Sky Sports

I think the ones you deem as shit are massive over reactions and he's had some of the best LB performances I can remember in a Spurs shirt. When he's really at it, he dominates the likes of Salah and Saka but he's young and still inconsistent. Plus we have no real cover so he gets over played.

Kid's been really at it what? 1 game out 5 since he's joined? And I'm being generous.

I've zero respect for a guy who doesn't give 100% week in week out, who doesn't track back or just jogs a bit, who shies away from challenges...especially when he's built like that kid. He's a friggin 22yo pro footballer with the best training facilities and everything. Trains 2 hours a day, not even every day. Plays 2 games a week plus the odd one for his country. That "he's overplayed" makes me laugh...kid was already lazy last year after Ange's honeymoon period aka the best 10 game run in the history of football.

People talking about bringing KWP back the last 18 months too. Absolutely shite player even as a sub. Wow

Good performance - blew them away first half thankfully. They were truly woeful but its still a shot in the arm for us.
I am still wondering why Spence hasn't been used more - now Udogie could be injured and Porro had to come on again when rested ffs. Play the kid.

IF we can beat United (albeit after a confidence boosting win themselves today!) and not lose to Liverpool this may be a key part of the season and galvanise the team a bit.
One thing is for sure - the players have not downed tools for Ange at all.

PLEASE beat United lads.
Where was Regulion? As we were comfortable he should have been on t
He bench rather than 1 of the kids and brought on instead of Porro who needed the rest.

Hopefully that will change after Spence's performance tonight. I don't think there is any way Ange can justify not giving him more game time after that.
Yup, Djed got his chance and stepped up. I watched Ange's post game ITW on the spurs twitter and he almost looked emotional talking about the players stepping up when he needed them to. Djed was one of those that had his back tonight. I doubt Ange will be looking for reasons not to play him from now.

Never seen him shy away from a tackle once.

And Real Madrid relying on 17 year old Yamal is a nonsense too

Maybe time you grew up ?
Yamal plays for Barca, so yeah Real relying on him is nonsense.

Did I say we shouldn't play kids? Nope. I said we should've elite, experienced talents/winners to start most games, cause you know apparently we are serious about challenging. Said that the likes of Mikey & Odo should be deputies ie getting minutes here & there in the mighty PL + bigger share in domestic cups & Europe.

Them kids need to develop before being thrown into the lion's den. Yamal is an alien, as was Mbappe...and look at who they got round them as teens. Not Timo Werner, not Brennan Johnson, not Bissouma. Also, how many kids have crashed & burnt after being exposed too soon?

Yang needs to go on loan for 2 or 3 seasons. Moore could do with regular gametime, like start week in week out...doubt he's there yet, so a loan to a top Champo or newly promoted team in PL could be wise. Odobert? Jury's still out obviously, but IMHO no way is he a starter here...I'm still pissed off we spent 30 big ones on that kid.

Werner, yes - get rid asap.

Game-changers? We need more than one of those. More like 3 or 4.
Not sure of the rules but we need homegrown and if Moore goes on loan does that mean he is not counted as homegrown? Yang is different but apart from Kane &Skipp. who else really did well on loan to get a starting place when they came back.

I'm expecting Yang to get a Euro loan as well but until we see him over here, we have no idea.

Moore they decided he'd be better off here than on loan. I can see where they are coming from. His illness was a killer because this period would have been ideal for him.

Odobert the same. He'd have been knocking on Son's door for that LW spot by now. Let's see what he looks like when he's back from injury but I was really impressed with that debut.

I'm waiting for Yang to arrive and see what Ange makes of him in training before making any judgements as to whether he stays at Spurs until summer or goes on loan , particularly as he's moved to UK from South Korea which will be a major cultural change and might suggest he's better staying at Spurs until summer.

He's played a full season in South Korean league, which is on same level as say Swedish league, so might be of a similar standard to Bergvall at the start of the season - but who knows until he starts training at Spurs

At this point I’m down just to help fill out the squad. We need bodies.

We're Spurs, we shouldn't have to rely on a 17yo, no matter how wonderful he may become...or a 20yo from Burnley. They should be bit-part players for the next 3 or 4 seasons, playing deputies to true world beaters...so not Werner or Johnson (nor 32yo Sonny).

But Levy.

I know you consider yourself a proper football guy; but you don't half talk some bollocks.

- We're not "reliant" upon Moore.
- Odobert IS a back-up player for us this season (or at least would be if he didn't get injured).
- Burnley? Who gives a fuck where he was signed from...... Hipsters like you would be far more impressed no doubt if he came from a mid-table club from the Peru instead
- No-one below 24 should be starting games?

All the above gems from the same guy that's trashing Ange game after game despite claiming that tactics aren't important.

Bit like "yeh, but everybody beats City these days "...... Except no-one beats City at home by 4 goals.
I played in a team, when I was a youngster, that went unbeaten for just over 2 seasons in all competitions. Then we lost our first game and went on a 5 game losing streak. Teams we'd smashed in previous seasons were turning us over until we got our mojo back.

It's amazing just how hard that first loss hits you when you're not used to it.

City have had losing spells before, but their home form was also something they could rely on. Not only did we destroy them, we did it on their own patch. That has absolutely smashed them mentally. There's no assurance in the way they play, they're hesitant, pedestrian and playing like a bunch of strangers.

It's all about their mentality at the moment, it's now in the basement.
