Don't hold your breath!
We lacked creativity in both halves mate, in all players who were in any formationI will preface this by saying I haven’t seen a replay of the game.
Did TF get his selections wrong? Why did we start the game with no Kudus or Xavi in the lineup? If we were going with a more defensive mindset then why no Paulinho? I just don’t understand Frank’s thinking in his starting 11.
For those of you who’ve watched the game can I ask you, did we lack creativity in the first half?
Another question I have is does Brennan Johnson suit Frank’s set up? I think we can agree that he is fairly limited in his skill set. He seemed to suit Ange’s gunho style of play better than Frank’s more cautious approach.
I’m not happy with the result. This is a game we should’ve won, despite the conditions etc. So did TF’s team selection let us down? Or was it the players? Or were BG a better side than the one we beat last year? Or maybe a bit of all of the above?
I’m not having a go at him or any of the team, merely posing the question/s. As I said I’m yet to watch the game.
You forgot passing back to Vic to to hit it no where. For the 2nd goal why did VDV give to Vic to kick knowing he useless. Why doesn’t he kick it forward. I don’t get this why pass it back to goalie to lump it when the out field players are surely better at trying to make a pass than the goalie. Our gameplay is so predictable.
Centreback passes to fullback who passes it to the wide player who then passes it back to the fullback who passes it back to any player, who then pumps a cross into the box. Wash, rinse, repeat.
Even Bodo has a better game plan than us
Learn again what exactly are we learning ? Frank seems to have settled on a low block tactic in every game until we go behind.
Against inferior oppo as wellWhat a stinker of a game.
Performances need to improve. Whilst it’s great that we can comeback from behind, we shouldn’t have to keep doing it.
Why are you obsessed with my age and the need to keep trying to put me down for it? Does being younger and arrogant give you a sense of superiority that replaces your ineptitude at communicating without trying to bully people?Qx there you go again. Telling people, you’re shit, I’m better than you. I have a better understanding than you..
Why do you feel this pressing need to judge and correct others? Does being condescending and arrogant give you a sense of superiority that replaces your physical decline?
Is this a productive way to spend your last years on our planet? I doubt it.
New manager bounce.Anyone is better than Ange.
But we looked good when the season started. Did really well against PSG. Beat Burnley 3-0 and then City.
We looked like a decent side. And what happened then? We've been looking awful since the Bournemouth game.
That clearance from Vicario is worse than an embarrassment. No control, no target. The ball swerved so bad and it still only travelled one-third of the field. Either he aimed one to our guys, or worse, just fucking hoof it up to their defence. His clearance was neither here nor there and that is pissing me off.You forgot passing back to Vic to to hit it no where. For the 2nd goal why did VDV give to Vic to kick knowing he useless. Why doesn’t he kick it forward. I don’t get this why pass it back to goalie to lump it when the out field players are surely better at trying to make a pass than the goalie.
This favourable fixture nonsense again. Wolves are our bogey side, we hadn’t won at West Ham for 5 years, it’s been a very long time since we won at Brighton. We've had very favourable fixtures so far. I don't see the kind of play we saw today - or against Wolves - doing anything against stronger opposition.
So your saying even though we were losing and 2-0 down we remained hard to beat?Hard to beat? We've had to come from 2 goals in 2 of our last 3, a goal down at the weekend. We're giving plenty of good chances up, we've been fortunate that we haven't been punished.
The goal posts moving is hilarious. But if it keeps you happy, fair enough. Enjoy your driving!
Umm well actually you've said the same thing to about 5 different posters. Not really, not where you're concerned.
You don't seem to have the ability to accept what you are told about your limitations. I can only tell you what I discern from your posts, your opinions and the way you interpret information you have available to you.
It's not a good picture.
To be precise, we upped our game for precisely 60 seconds after each goal conceded, and would you believe we went and scored quite easily both times. Obviously one was disallowed, but it highlights just how ashamed the players ought to be with themselves for not taking the 3 points in that game, if they had just pulled their bloody fingers out for even 15 minutes out of the 90 then that would have been a comfortable win.Terrible performance, only upped our game when we went two down. We were lucky that they missed some golden opportunities to increase their lead. Still, to look on the positive side, we did fight back and showed some resilience in getting an equaliser. I think that we shouldn't poo-poo own goals, it at least shows that we're getting the ball in the penalty area and putting the pressure on. Sure, it would be lovely to see a worldie now and again, but in certain games, I'm just relieved that the ball crossed the line.
Let's see how other teams fare at Bodo's ground before we beat ourselves up over this result.
