An experienced Leicester side pressing high and absolutely dominating us. Some of our players have stood up to the task, others have shrunk away from it. With Pochettino watching, that's probably not great for their future chances.

Sterling in his first game back from injury had one good moment but has been totally unable to hold onto the ball, and Duncan's giving it away nearly every time he gets it.

I'd like to see Reynolds on for Oakley-Boothe or Duncan, who have offered pretty much nothing - that would make us more competitive.

Been impressed by Tangana too - nothing seems to get past him. All round good defensive shift

Haven't seen the game but really like what Ive seen of Roles so far, seems like one of those lads who has the gift of timing, being in the right place and is composed under pressure when he gets there.

Having those 2 talents - right place right time, and coolness to finish off - priceless. I see also that at school he was an athlete, so he's either got lightning pace or gas. Either way, that's huge too. The amount of goals he gets from midfield is just insane. Sounds like he had 2 chances, one placed around the keeper but hit the post, the other he scores. Did he have an attitude problem at one stage? Only asking because it seemed at one point that fans rated him higher than the club?

Bit of a mish mash in the line up with no recognised full backs, a CB at RB and CM at LB, although admittedly both have played as a FB before and done well, and both Brooklyn Lyons-Foster and Harvey White are excellent prospects. But seems strange in some ways when Dennis Cirkin, who is a current England youth international LB is on the bench.

Good to see Walcott back from injury and back in the starting X1, very promising CB.

First appearance for Rafferty Pedder on the bench - he was out for most of last season through injury but looked a very promising CM as an u15. Another relatively rare appearance for Elliott Thorpe on the bench too.

There is a midweek UEFA Youth game so perhaps surprised that more players are not being rested, but it does explain why some players (eg Maghoma) not involved today or in last nights u23 game.

Having settled Spu@rs we’re caught out by Villa counter, but were quickly back in it with two goals from Parrott and Shashoua with Markanday adding a third to go in at halftime 3-1 up.
