Brighton commentator suggesting Markanday should make Conte consider whether he should be included in first team squad

Decent highlights with a more fair commentator than usual

A good 2-1 away win with a team which is almost all from Academy Year 1 (year 2 stars not available either through first team duties- Scarlett - or injury - Devine, Mathurin , Hackett Davies) with only a couple such as Torraj and Cassanova with Haysman on the bench representing 2nd years. Alsi a couple of u16's involved again with Chaplin starting again

Soft prediction: Conte turns Jack Clarke into marauding backup RWB. Will quietly delete this in January when he's loaned out.

Think the nutritional/fitness teams putting running strength in his legs for that, might take a while, but like what you're saying.

Kion Etete starting to get into the swing of things on his first loan - statistics are :

League 2 - 14 appearances (862 minutes played) - 2 goals and 1 assist
EFL Cup - 2 appearances (180 mins played) - 2 goals
EFL Trophy - 1 appearance (90 minutes played )
FA Cup (v League 1 team) - 1 appearance (90 minutes played) - 1 goal

Total - 18 appearances (1,222 minutes played) - 5 goals and 2 assist = a goal/assist every 175 minutes (ie every other game)

Troy Parrott's 2nd season on loan :

League 1 - 13 appearances ( 970 minutes played) - 3 goals, 4 assists
EFL Trophy - 1 appearance (66 minutes played)

Total - 14 appearances (1,036 minutes played) - 3 goals and 4 assists = a goal/assist every 148 minutes (almost 2 goals/assists every 3 games)

Both aged 19 (going on 20) and both worth persisting with, probably another loan next season.

Nice stuff.
Both Etete and Parrot are potential "target men" which Scarlett has been for a couple of games for the 1st team.
Be interesting to see what happens in January. Conte likes a centre forward.
Not saying he will recall either but will he go out buying?

A few more statistics on our loanees :

Jamie Bowden
League 2 Oldham - 10 appearances (755 minutes played), 2 assists
EFL Trophy - 2 appearances (180 minutes played)
EFL Cup - 2 appearances (180 minutes played), 1 assist
FA Cup - 1 appearance (90 minutes played).

Good to see the deep lying playmaker getting regular playing time (not always in his favoured position) in his first ever loan.

J'Neil Bennett
League 1 Crewe - 9 appearances (681 minutes0, 1 goal 1 assist
FA Cup - 1 appearance (44 minutes)

Plus of course a 0 minute appearance for Spurs in europe

Again good to see the winger getting regular playing time in his first ever loan.

Alfie Whiteman GK has played 11 matches for Swedish Degerfors IF

Just a reminder about Ramell Carter

Watched a couple, not a single tackle and no pressing.

(Super quick feet, leg strength and core)
