Has anyone who has suggested him not being?
The more you guys bang on about him the more I'm leaning towards the possibility
The main reason I brought him up is because he has the same style of play and build as Benteke and Lukaku....available at 3/4 the price. If we do end up signing Villa (for who knows how much), he could easily serve as a strong squad player for when Ade and Villa are on a dry run/ injuries. Most of it has become a running joke at this point. My only hope is for the club to grow and win trophies, and I am behind whoever AVB and co think can get the job done.
The USA connection is an added perk. The joy in all of it is being able to say beefcake...using it in real world conversations isn't as acceptable as one would think/hope.

That was such a sad episode of Kitchen Nightmares. Ramsey couldn't use his Jesus powers to help them rebuild their business and their lives...he had to turn the other cheek and walk away. A first for series. Very sad.
All I've seen of Altidore is a few international friendlies, Hull four seasons ago and a youtube compilation of his Alkmar feat this year. Fair play to him scored some blinders, it's just everyone's fear of the unknown when buying the Erdivise top goal scorer, for every Van Nistelrooy and Ibra you get the Kuyts and Alfonso Alves' more recently. I've said a million times abouty recurring nightmare of buying a player and it turning out to be Alfonso Alves in disguise. All in all I think he's worth a punt as our third/fourth choice striker, wether he'd rather play week in week out and champions league with Ajax or PSV though is another story

With the WC coming up, id' prefer to have him playing week in week out and scoring goals and maintaing confidence, regardless of where he is...so in that regard, Ajax or PSV would be great...but AZ wouldn't sell and isn't Ajax really big on promoting academy players? I saw some rumor/gossip of interest from Sunderland and Newcastle...that would probably, in all reality, be a better fit for him in this league at this time.
