The fact is, once again we have a player our manager really wants to sign. We have a player who really wants to join us. And once again we fail to land the player due to Levy refusing to sanction the deal. What makes this even more hard to take, we seemingly lost out to fucking team that's only qualified for CL football once in the last decade and finished 8th last season. It's all very well for us to say he ain't worth whatever. Klopp and Poch obviously think he is.
Evidence, once again, the Levy will always put profit over progress
If he really wanted to join us he would have come. I doubt £23m was the reason he didn't come.
Like it or not, Liverpool are a bigger pull than us despite no CL. They can pay him more too.
If Poch wanted him so bad why didn't he and mitchell get him for £14m last summer?

Our transfer window deals may end underwhelming as usual .
It will be bigged up Eriksen signs new contract and and George ( bargain basement ) signs .
Accountancy trophy has our name written on it again ( 7 years of glorious bookeeping )
Others may sign the odd game changing first teamer but can they taste , or relish our magnificence
and triumph that is the " language of business "

Seems that your only talking point is ENIC/Levy. Must be so painful for you to watch the club you love being run by tight fisted cunts.
Why not actually do something about it and start a protest group. Do a DejayDT and get your point across.
Something like 'thanks ENIC for 7 years of record league consistency, 9 out of 10 seasons in Europe, the new training complex, lodge and stadium. But enough is enough bring back the cup team..:)

Isco (give Eriksen a kick up the bum)

Isco wouldn't give "eriksen a kick up the bum", he'd completely obliterate him. Isco vs Eriksen is a none contest.

Can anyone really say they've seen Eriksen develop over the past 3 years? He's one of the only players in the squad who hasn't improved.

Bit like Ś.M , a very pleasurable pain .

Assuming Chadli goes and Son stays I would be happy with the squad with the additions of Nkoudou (dependant on Njie) and Berahino. Mason and Bentaleb barely featured last year. Dembele as we have seen simply isnt replaceable, guessing when we are without him we will go 4 4 2 ish like we have the last three games meaning we would need another striker, Berahino would be an ideal third choice, its strange what Pulis can do to a man but theres still talent there. On the 4 4 2 ish formation also we have been putting Lamela on the left where he's looked great and Eriksen on the right who hasn't, im guessing thats where the Zaha link has come from as he plays predominantly from the right, would like to have Zaha as an option but Palace would want 20 million in this climate. Think when all the silliness is done this will have been a good window. Wanyama and Janssen are both players who are borderline 1st 11 in positions where we had nothing last year. We just need some pace in the front four now. Guessing it might be a busy three days.

I know a lot of people on here really like Eriksen, and I appreciate what he brings to the team when he plays, especially when he's on form, but whether in form or not I just don't think he's doing what he was originally brought in to do which is provide a genuine creative spark and break down defenses. We're crying out for that type of player right now - Lamela is our most creative player at times.
