He was superb when he had 2 dynamic fullbacks to spread play to & protection from a solid CM pairing. We let the squad die, ended up with relatively shit fullbacks and then had him play deep. What were people expecting? Mazy dribbles? Slide tackles?

He was absolute dogshit for us during his last season and had basically given up. Too bad, if he had put some effort in he could have had another chance under a new manager.

I explained why he wasn't able to perform as well. He's a passer and we took away several outlets.
Your thinking is why Levy can fuck this club over each year.

His effort was fine. He ran as usual. He pussed out of tackles as usual. He should have won us the game at Bayern single handedly but the rest of the team let him down. I like that using that game as an example cos it shows him still trying. Playing through balls and sprinting to support, encouraging and applauding his teammates. Fantastic one touch play and linkup (mostly with GLC).

But no carry on believing this myth/lie that he stopped trying.

So it turns out that little weasel Kaveh has called out a Palace fan for Abusing him on twitter with "racial undertones"
I follow the Palace and he seems a lovely fellow.
