Don't want to go anywhere near Vestergaard, simply not good enough

He was fucking shite tonight.

Imagine him and Sanchez opening against City it would be like watching the twelve minutes it took for the Titanic to sink.

I've never really looked into much of the Titanic history, how long was it before the lifeboats were rescued? Can you imagine how shit that must've been? Especially for the kids that got on boats without their family...you just watched the giant ship sink. Its the North Atlantic so you're cold as fuck. And now you're just....waiting...and hoping...for a rescue you aren't even certain will come.

Christ, I'd almost rather go down.

I’m worried how quiet the rumour mill is in terms of signings, only guy I have seen linked regularly is Tomiyasu which doesn’t exactly fill me with confidence. Feels awfully reminiscent of 2018 at the moment.

I'm not sure I like the sound of "...confident of signing him this month" - that suggests this could drag on for another few weeks, allowing other clubs to get involved and potentially screwing up the whole deal. If everyone is happy and just finalising terms, how on earth can the finishing line still potentially be so far away? :/

EDIT: Could just be lazy journalism I suppose - he might just mean 'imminently' or 'within days'...

Vestergaard impressed me. Very dominant and very good on the ball. Reminder me of a younger toby
Interesting to see such polarised views on him from last night's game - it seems half the people on here thought he was great, the other half thought he was terrible. Personally I think he did alright, certainly commanding and clearly enjoys defending...

TBH all I saw was red shirts... Even PEH, I only noticed on the close-ups.

Just heard Theo Walcott on the radio..... Why was he not on the firm with the rest of the young England up & comers last night? :kanehand:
