In the summer, assuming Sessegnon comes back from loan to be the alternate LB/LWB to Reguilon, we'll have 6 CB's available :

Alderweireld
Sanchez
Dier,
Rodon
Tanganga (CB can cover FB's)
Davies (as LCB/3rd LB)

I had expected Sanchez to be the first to leave until a few weeks ago (and maybe keep Davies until Christmas, dount if we get big fee) and Milenkovic to come in - plan being that Alderweireld to be the 'senior' CB next season and leave summer 2022..

But recently looks more like Sanchez staying and Dier leaving ?

Assuming we can only bring one CB in - who do you expect to be the :
- first CB to leave
- second CB to leave (maybe)

and which one CB comes in - needs to be good defender and capable at organising defence after Toby leaves ?
My interpretation of the situation is this:

Dier is getting Sanchez's post 3-3 draw against Spam treatment. He has to fight his way back into the starting XI via lesser competitions/games over time.

Dier used to be off the market, but now is on list as our every other CBs. The issue is finding a buyer that pay well and purchasing a quality CB.

So as a must buy CB coming in, we would sell whoever manage to get the best offer.

https://www.teamtalk.com/news/Woolwich-tottenham-west-ham-franck-kessie-transfer-battle

According to Milan Live, the London trio of Woolwich, Tottenham and West Ham are all long-term admirers of the 24-year-old.

However, Kessie will not come cheap. The report claims that Milan would require an offer of €50m before considering a sale.

That price seems steep for a player who is out of contract in 2022. However, the Italian giants are trying to extend that contract until 2026, which would give them more negotiating power.

They are also willing to offer Kessie an improved wage packet worth €3m per season rather than €2.2m.

He’s great on his day but inconstant.
Not a word you hear or see much these days but I can think of a couple of players it suits.

inconstant, fickle, capricious, mercurial, unstable mean lacking firmness or steadiness (as in purpose or devotion). inconstant implies an incapacity for steadiness and an inherent tendency to change.
