But IMO the deal was done days ago and we are helping Atalanta by keeping shtum.

The price of any player they are buying doesn't change based on the sale.
But if they have kept everything under wraps with zero links with the deal done all to help Atalanta get no benefit while we also have no benefit and actually are hurt by it then that would be pretty impressive.
