I can't believe any of these parties, incl the current Barca board, particularly want a legal discovery process where all the documentation, emails, texts, and most of all bungs, enter the public domain.

The end result of such a process is surely some sort of sanction, such as a transfer / signing ban, on Barca now, because the former board was Barca when these deals were done.

The current board can't say "nowt to do with Barca". Although they will of course try.

If has the feel of a crazy game of Russian Roulette as Barca try to sort their fucked up finances, register all the players they've signed, & boot de Jong out of the club.

Why would he want to stay? That's the bit I can't fathom. He's Dutch not Catalan so Cruyff played managed there so what.

If your employer so undervalue you go to a rival club and shit all over them. Take a cut in wages demand massive pay off and get on with your career. He's becoming an N'dombele level weirdo.

Given how determined and dedicated Royal is, I have no issue if we actually do decide to go into season with CB options of Romero, Dier, Davies, Lenglet, Sanchez and Royal as RCB cover. That would still be 6 players for 3 positions.

Then Winks, Tanganga, GLC, Ndombelly, Reggie out and we are ready to go.
 
Why the hell would or should we accept Lo Celso going on loan with an option? They"ve already had him on loan. Obligation, permanent or do one imo. Lo Celso has to play because of the world cup so he'll just have to go elsewhere and lump it. Ndombele they can have on loan with an option.

We don't know quite how obsessed de Jong is with the filthy lucre, although I'm sure his agent doesn't want him to give up a single Euro.

But de Jong is in a strong position. Unlike many out of favour players, he has clubs wanting to sign him.

Allegedly the Glazers & manure are willing to pay his deferred salary, and offer him a lucrative new contract. Rumours are that Boehly & the chavs are too, and unlike yanited they can offer CL football and London.

So I don't see any reason for de Jong to take a cut in wages. The problem is all Barca's, and there are suggestions they can't continue their ludicrous signing spree & actually register players until they get de Jong off the books.

And yet another confirmation that I'm still right about the player in my profile picture. His obstacles have always been his frail character and some bad luck in transfers, but he's technically a good forward and I stand by it. But if he finally manages to have a good season at Atletico, I hope for his sake that he stays there and doesn't come back to our disaster of a team.

You need to get rid of Allegri as soon as possible. Incredible manager if he has a great squad, bit like Ancelotti, but he cannot build a team to save his life. I know a manager that would do wonders for this Juve team. :pochserious2:

He'd make the team play a lot better though. This Juve side can't play the football Allegri wants them to play, they simply don't have the tools for it. Bonucci is a walking mistake, the less said about Alex Sandro and Danilo the better, and Cuadrado, while a great player, is very attack-focused. Poch would make them free-flowing and not worry about conceding, which they inevitably will. He'd lose some games, but he'd win the vast majority by 3+ goals.
 
If we get movement on Lo celso and Ndombele this week I wonder will it speed up Zaniolo?

Still nothing on Tanganga or Reguilon mind..

Not if it's merely an "option". (They can still delay payment with an obligation...... We can agree 'gentle' repayment structure if we're agreeable too.)

They can just walk away having had him for two years and leave us with a player with even less re-sale value than he currently has.
