conte worked with him before

he will make lautaro into a class player

he has all the attributes to be one of the best

i really like the lukaku lautaro partnership

and considering kane is 10 times the player lukaku is i could see it being extremely deadly
Yeah, I watched many of those games and wasn't impressed. I just think in general it's a bad idea to spend big money on a player so dependent of others to creat for him. But if he does come here let's hope you're right and I'm wrong.

But crucially, and the point to which I was responding, I do not believe Pool, City, or Chelsea will/would be interested. The first two are going for complete CB-headaches at striker as Haaland is done and it looks like Darwin is too. Maybe Chelsea might but I don't believe he is a Tuchel player.

Everyone here is always like, "buy young, talented English players"

When we're thinking about doing that it's, "BUT HE'S NOT THE FINISHED PRODUCT!!!"

Yep, I think the key is getting a good balance. We must sign promising youngsters, but now with Conte, we cannot ONLY sign promising youngsters. We must sign proven first-team starters and supplement with youngsters, promising they can break through into regular first-team if they perform when given a chance (5 subs next season, it will be interesting to see how Conte changes a game using them).

Lautaro is not that good tbh, but he'd work amazingly with Kane cos Lautaro is a bit of a Lamela. There won't be any peace for CBs cos of his workrate.

My guess is we'll have Emerson, Doherty and Spence going into the season. Perisic and Sess on the other side.

Doherty and Perisic both utility options for either flank.

Hope not.... Doh is a shadow of the player on the right.

Good player. Plays all over the place, mf and am and forward line. Big, strong, skilful, decent creative passing, goal-scorer, strong in the air, works extremely hard... but he can be a bit erratic and blunt in his play as well... Some heavy touches and errant passing/decisions. I think of him as a cross between Diego Costa and Thomas Muller.. but he's a fairly unique player. Interested to see how he does when he moves on from Lyon, he wouldn't be starting so regularly for Brazil out of charity.. I'd be excited by this without being fully confident in it.
Lyon …. Pass

We do have a poor habit of pushing certain players “shitness” WAY too far

Look no further than Dier & Davies...... Both had good runs under Poch, yet haters insisted they were not worthy of an EPL side and would struggle in the championship. Lo and behold, here they are now proving the same armchair 'experts' wrong.
