Woolwich will struggle with Thursdays in Uzbekistan and Sundays in Brighton. They can spend as much as they like on players the internet discovered yesterday. They will burn out unless they go out of the Ropey league league at the group stage.

How many world class players have come from the Portuguese league?
And before you start listing them - read the question again.
Everyone you're about to say only really became "world class" after they left and got better in stronger leagues.

It's a piss take out of all the bullshit artists like Romano who say 5 different things in one day then claim they know what's happening.
So why aren't the Championship league or even the Russian league producing the same amount world class/top class players then if, according to you, all you have to do is to move to an EPL club to be validated as it doesn't really what league you come from?

I'd argue it's more to do with the youth academy system in any country than a league the players barely ever played in.
If the Portuguese league was so strong, why has it been so long since Sporting, Benfica or Porto made any impact in Europe?
It's no stronger than the French league. A country that has won considerably more at international level than Portugal.
Portugals last international fixture saw a starting 11 of
GK - Roma
LB- PSG
CB - PSG
CB - Real Madrid
RB - Man City
Mid - Man United
Mid - Wolves
Mid - Porto
Forward - Milan
Forward - RBL
Forward - Everton

ONE player for the national team in the domestic league. ONE!

Well with Chelsea and Woolwich sniffing around we’d want to make a call and pursue it aggressively.

Richarlison for me, but before we know it raphina is off to the goons and Richarlison is off to the chavs and we’re left with no one

And furthermore - Pickford - Sunderland. Walker - Sheffield United. Stones - Barnsley. Bowen - Herefrod. Bellingham - Birmingham. Philips - Leeds (when in championship)
Lots of England players started out below the premier league.

yeah - but he said we're a "financial juggernaut" yesterday. How could we be outbid.

"Eriksen wants to remain in London but also wants to join Manchester United despite rejecting them"

Yeah, that makes perfect sense.

Fuck's sake, if you're so sad that you need to make up bollocks on the internet to give your life some semblance of worth, at least try to make it minimally coherent.

He is clearly taking the piss, if not he has been drinking Hercules‘s Bullshitorade

Interesting. I wonder if there is another player they’ve got their eyes on, or it they’re genuinely only looking for one forward player.

Almost certainly we are looking at bringing in 2 players, assuming Begwijn is off, as one player in leaves us with only 5 players for 3 positions (in a 433). What's unknow /is:
- Are Raphina (and Kulusevski) adequate cover if Kane is injured ?
- Have we got a yet to be revealed player who is top of our list expected to be available later in the window (eg Martinez due to Inter's finances meaning they will need to sell) ?
- We seem to be only club showing an interest in Richardilson but Everton saying a high price, maybe need to sit it out until Everton become more reasonable.
- Etc

Its 4D chess at this stage of transfer window with a lot of options to guess which Conte prefers

I'm not sure anyone outside our transfer committee would have an inside track on every deal we're looking at. Think this bloke is stretching what he may know (if anything) pretty thin.
It's pretty easy to figure this one out though. Felix is not a conte type player. We also wouldn't spend what he'd cost.
