Bit of an out there thought...

...what if Conte values Raphinha as a RW but someone who can also play RWB? He's obviously talented enough going forward, from what I've seen his work rate is good. Not sure about his one on one defending obviously, but maybe Conte sees promise there?
If anything it would be Kulu at RWB IMO. Conte mentioned this in the past, and Kulu is a lot more physical. He's also a more intelligent player who can read the game.

Dejan as RWB would be a bad move.

You want a wingback that is explosive in his speed. Dejan is not that. He is decently fast, but he takes time to get going. Raphinhia is much more explosive and would suit the RWB role better.

Dembele's contract has run out- they can't sell him.
Question is whether he goes to Chelsea on a free on extends with Barca.

Frustrated World Cup GIF

Barca have huge financial and FFP issues - so much so that they have 2 or 3 free transfers that Spanish FA will not register until they offload players to reduce wage bill and reduce debt.

They are offloading players but equally the number of players they are linked to will not be allowed to be registered with them by Spanish FA. So will they actually sign Raphina - not sure ?

They're also still said to be favourites to sign Lewandowski if they can rustle up space on the wage bill too......

Of course, he would want a fortune.

Expolisivity is more important for attackers than defenders. Doherty isn't exactly explosive either, and he's a better RWB than both. Nor is Emerson actually.

Anyway, I want neither at RWB.

Fresh update from my sauce in Italy: If your carbonara is tasting a little bland, don't be afraid to get adventurous with your blend of cheeses! Parmesan and pecorino are good for keeping it classic, but there's nothing stopping you adding a cheeky shred of red leicester, or a smoky pepper-jack to mix things up! Try experimenting with some of your favourite cheeses and see what works for you!

About fucking time someone tried to bring back the 2-3-5 formation.
Nagelsmann with Bayern did actually play the 3-2-5 formation in home CL KO games.

Sane and Coman wide forwards, Musiala and Muller behind Lewandowski, Kimmich and Goretzka CDMs.

Was just about to post the same thing! Yep, exactly what I'm hearing. Cambozola is being pushed under our noses. Hard to sniff at that one, but we're holding out for Roquefort +10m. Gouda is an option, but any more and the board is going to be too busy.

Is this more "Cheese Room" humour??

Richarlison is the strongest link, and apparently we have a good relationship with his agent. Ornstein was confident we'd get Richarlison. I suspect he's agreed to join us, and we are keeping Everton waiting to get the best fee. Hopefully Chelsea just messing with us, just as we're messing with Woolwich over Jesus.
