Loan with obligation I'm assuming?
Would be great to get them off the books, feels like a real weight on our shoulders right now.

Unfortunately not, according to Fabrizio Romano.Loan with obligation I'm assuming?

If Villarreal get Argentina GLC and Ligue 1 Fatlad they’ll be a force in Spain.Loan with obligation I'm assuming?

Obligation to buy GLC & Ndombele if certain targets achieved, though unclear whether these are player targets (eg appearances) or club targets (eg league position, CL qualification):
Romano: "loan with buy option clause that could become mandatory in case of some targets achieved"
Some reaction from the crowd.. Roma are really buzzing going into the new season.
If Villarreal get Argentina GLC and Ligue 1 Fatlad they’ll be a force in Spain.
My guess though is GLC will come good and Fatlad will tease with flashes of brilliance but be overall shite.
Absolute clowns.
The thing is, if their board were reckless, what’s that got to do with De Jong? It’s their fault.
Seems like extorsion to me."criminality around contract given by old board + cause for legal action vs all involved"
Which would presumably include De Jong's camp.
Could be BS and more FCB fuckery tho'.
I'm sure Lo Celso to Villerreal will happen but I don't see how they could afford anywhere near the kind of wages Tanguy is on.
It will either be a very cheap transfer or we will cover some of it.
If that was the case and they had genuine evidence, they would terminate his contract."criminality around contract given by old board + cause for legal action vs all involved"

Instead, it’s intimidatory bullshit. Hope they get liquidated. Club is clearly bankrupt.
Also, let’s get on De Jong.

The one benefit of a legal discovery process is they might use it to delay his wages. If, speculatively, the current Barca board have decided to sue some combo of:
- the former Barca board
- the lawyers & agents for the de Jong deal / contract
- potentially Frenkie de Jong himself
Then that is a clusterfuck of immense proportions.
I can't believe any of these parties, incl the current Barca board, particularly want a legal discovery process where all the documentation, emails, texts, and most of all bungs, enter the public domain.
The end result of such a process is surely some sort of sanction, such as a transfer / signing ban, on Barca now, because the former board was Barca when these deals were done.
The current board can't say "nowt to do with Barca". Although they will of course try.
If has the feel of a crazy game of Russian Roulette as Barca try to sort their fucked up finances, register all the players they've signed, & boot de Jong out of the club.
