Heard this all before from the club's mouthpiece.
Lets see if this summer is different. Hopefully makes all the discussion around Wilson moot and we go get in 3 top draw attackers + CM instead.

The one against us where Bergvall robbed him. Leeds he underhit a back pass, went straight to their man through on goal, and think he did something similar last game or the one before.
Agreed
It does raise questions around our young players.
Not their fault, of course, the squad has been built in such a cockeyed way I think there are going to be decisions made that wont sit well with everyone.
I like Tel and Odobert probably more than most on here, they do seem to get some stick. I dont think either are nailed on to succeed, but I do think both are talented and have potential - and should have a place in the squad
Similarly Grey and Bergvall, big potential, need to play
(and Vuskovic, Souza, Moore, LWB...)
To buy players to improve the team, to suit RDZ, to balance the squad (which is a mess) - Ive a sinking feeling we are going to end up either sacrificing some of these players - or just compromising them and stalling their careers
I understand we arent in a position to play them all, but I also cant help feeling very much against signings like Wilson for exactly these reasons
The club knows we need more than kids with potential hence Robertson + Senesi. Wilson would be similar.Spot on.
I’d much rather those minutes go to Tel, LWB, Mikey Moore.
If we are bringing in more wingers / attackers after Savio we need to bust the ceiling of the squad. A 29yo Harry Wilson on a 4y contract does not do that. It needs to be someone top tier.
Reports yesterday that Fulham restarted talks with him. Only a guess but could indicate that he hasn't had the interest he thought he might. His form in 2nd half of season dropped off a cliff.

This fanbase needs to wake up. I thought avoiding relegation by the skin of our teeth would do it but clearly not.
I think Kudus/Wilson rotation is about right for where we are now and provided we make the big money upgrades elsewhere (LW / CF).Really comes down to your views on Wilson
I think Senesi is excellent business
I think Robertson is less exciting, but clever
I think between them our defence is suddenly well balanced, meaning SPence can support Porro at RB, we have proper rotations, we have a nice mix of experience and skill etc
I think Wilson is not the guy we need, free or not
If we're going to break the bank, i'd go for someone who has proven they can literally boss a midfield - Bruno Guimares.

Yep. Better to aim high, maybe 3 £80m signings that shift the dial and make do elsewhere than spread yourself too thin with 5 or 6 mid level signings. This is the level we should be aiming for IMO. MGW, Wharton, Bruno. Different positions I know but they all transform our midfield.
