Is Udogie bad 1v1? Legit question for our Italian football specialists, also known as the Youtube Coinnoseurs.

I know Porro is about as hard to get past as some wet tissue paper, but Udogie strikes me as having the physical attributes to be better in those kind of situations.

I'll be honest I don't even know but I wouldn't be surprised if a player who who has played as a LWB for the majority of his career has a few lapses defensively.

Lenglet was rubbish pre Spurs and his club can't wait to get rid of him. Pretty sure Xavi isn't pro defensive football and if anything a silky ball playing LCB should be high up on his love list. Yet it sounds like they'd get rid of 10p and a packet of wotsits as long as he's gone ... funny that.

Some players (Bissouma being a key one) I can happily say I'm excited to see outside of a Conte setup, but the likes of Lenglet weren't shackled by the system, they just aren't all that good. He's crap aerially, positionally suspect and slow. Him in a 4 with a high line in this league would be horrendous.
Tried to tell you part 94

:ange-facepalm:

The question with Gallagher is why doesn’t Poch rate him? Very high work rate HG player is right up his street.

OK so they need to balance the books but having sold Mount you’d think Gallagher would be well in line for a similar role but seems he’s happy to get rid.

I've only seen about 5/6 games of him for Udinese and Italy youth side, but it's not that he's shit 1v1, but he's very lazy tracking back, so he doesn't even get in a position to be 1v1 in defence.

The lower we sell Hojbjerg for, the less likely we are of signing Gallagher mate. Quote obviously.

That's like saying if we sell Sanchez for only 12 mill it means we can forget about Tapsoba or VdV :ange-hmm:

Oh wait...............:ange-snarl:

I don't think what we sell Hoj for has that much influence on who his replacement will be and how much he costs. The Kane money will be distributed across a number of positions that need strengthening

If we get 25-30m for PEH: Spend it on VDV
If we get 30-35m for PEH: Spend it on Tapsoba
If we get 10m for Sanchez: Spend it on Tosin

.........Give PEHs minutes to one of GLC, Ndombele or Divine.
