I think many people obviously including Levy never thought that Campbell would join Woolwich.

I can take two entirely different players, with two entirely different situations and two entirely different circumstances come up with the conclusion that they aren't actually mutually exclusive.

For one more year? What's the point. I could understand if we had a team on the brink of winning the league. However we are not in that position, keeping him for one more year may get us top 5. However selling him and buying a Tapsoba and another striker may also get us top 5.
Agree. We had Kane last year and didn't get top 4, did we...

For all the talk of a rebuild this just puts it off somewhat. I'm really unconvinced our current squad can achieve top 4 even keeping Harry. Maybe we will strengthen a fair bit in the next few weeks and back Ange but I'm sceptical.

The only real way turning down the money now makes sense is if Harry ends up signing a new contract. Otherwise in 12 months we will see him elsewhere in the Premier League.

Have to say - I would much rather see us with Kane than without next season.
Anyone who thinks we are better off without him is naive. And anyone that thinks any manager wouldn't change their system to accommodate a generational talent like Kane is just as naive.

I don't know if you noticed, but we already spent a lot this window, don't think we have another 90m worth of transfers or anywhere near.

"A lot"

Between last summer and now we've spent approx 300m quid....... Knock off 150m share capital injected and divide by 2..... That's 75m per season...... Very much within a feasible annual budget.

I've said all along we should be able to get a proper window done without Kane money.

It's not ironic at all. The point is why should I be open minded and change my mind when others are nothing of the sort.
It would be ironic if I wasn't completely aware of that.
That’s not what you posted though is it?!

It doesn’t make them any less open minded if they’ve considered your opinion, but still disagree with you!

They just have a different way of viewing it to you.

To my point that would be two players.... Not one.

....And to my initial point; Liverpool's title win didn't prive VVDs pricetag.... His individual performances did.

Good player... That's not in question.

I'm just pushing back on idea of him not being worth it.

Him, alongside the other fairly high profile signings Woolwich made could be the difference between success and failure for Woolwich. I think its worth the risk for them.

The signs are already good, they put up a strong showing vs a team that won a treble on Sunday.
