Call me crazy but I don’t think Fati is our best option bc he plays off the RW, he’s sort of an inside forward coming off the left like Son.

We still NEED a right winger. And if the only deal is a loan with no option to buy I’d still take Johnson, don’t care about the fee, Kulusevski cannot start 35 PL matches for us.

He plays LWF like Son.

Even in his comeback season he was really dangerous.

Yeah good one, not like no-one is aware of the fact and you don't repeat the same thing every day in every thread.

Bot like behavior

Ha, well they continue to prove me right.

:pochsmirk:

Instead of attacking us, how about you and your ilk explain how we're wrong and Levy and ENIC truly DO care about winning trophies?

This may take a while.

He is right footed though, and if we're interested then it seems Ange prefers his wide forwards to be wingers rather than inverted. I guess he could play in both positions if needed.

This claim that Ange plays his wingers on the outside on their natural foot is one of the most selectively applied notions in recent times (which on TFC is saying something!).

Basically, if it's regarding a players that peeps want it's get's thrown out of the window...... If it's re: (eg) Kulu or someone unwanted; it's a bad fit and they should either swap sides or be binned off.

Never change.......:freundgoal:

So we are slightly more than 50 Hours from the end of the transfer window and it feels like we have been left short again. The fact is we sold our greatest ever goal scorer on the 11th of this month and then went to make no signings for 19 Days and do not look close to making any signings.

The fact is we still have half a squad that has already been deemed not good enough many which continue to plague us in these cup ties when we rotate the squad.

I am even doubting we make another signing this window especially since we probably need a cf, winger, cb(1 or 2), and backup keeper. I am a bit confused with the point of paying some of the highest ticket prices in the league when it looks like we cannot compete.

I think you're right to some degree but the main point is that we need a winger with a different profile to our current ones; someone who can actually beat a defender 1v1 and stretch the pitch. That doesn't mean we need wingers who always stay on the touchline and can't invert, but that we can't play Son on the left who can't dribble and plays narrow while simultaneously play a slow winger like Kulusevski on the right who also can't beat his man.

You need balance in a team and that means both right and left footed player, as well as players who can play both wide and narrow.

Playing Son on the right and instructing him to stay wide and just beat his man and cross the ball would be equally pointless, he just doesn't have the skill set.
