If he’s going on loan there has to be an obligation, otherwise we just end up in the same situation in 12 months time.
does it really make a difference, doesn't it just mean they pay a season later ?
Chelsea bought Madueke, our fucking academy product. Edwards as well would've probably been a starter by now if Poch managed to keep him.Maybe Poch saw the academy was failing to pick up talent.
10 players for £100m is just deadwood quite frankly. The best players we've actually sold for money? Winks, Carrol? Mason, Townsend, Bentaleb? It's all so fucking average.
Chelsea get £30-£60m for their youth, who aren't all great but way better than those.
Think Sarr and Bentancur fill in for Biss this season, then look at it next summer. Just have to pray he doesn't get a bad injury.

stella Artois fuck this shit !!!!PABST BLUE RIBBON!!!!
The loan with obligation means you can put the transfer off for a year. So no initial cost, unlike a transfer.Genuine question for any accountants here - do you know the difference between 'loan with obligation to buy' and 'permanent transfer with payments spread over a number of years' (which is surely pretty much all transfers). Don't they effectively amount to exactly the same thing? :/
